I like the product other than the part where I sold part of my soul to purchase it; PRICEY! Easy to install yourself. It does take some time for adjustments, but the built in measuring marks help. It's sturdy as can be. I use mine for many things like carrying my kayaks, wood, and ladders. It looks good on the truck too. The crossbar in the picture is the medium 60". It works great and can handle two kayaks sitting side by side without hanging off. The loops on the ends are incredibly helpful.

Works as the should pricey though

The size I got looks perfect! Its not to long or to short. I have a Ford F-150 2016 eco boost, and it looks sharp! I love it! Another big thing to me is parking. I can still drive into down town parking lots because of the adjustable rack. Huge thanks! The Yakima ladder rack looks great with or without my ladder on it. I highly recommend this! My old ladder rack I bought was from northern tool. It was so high that I couldn’t enter garage parking lots. Best investment by far!

I have two sets of these on my truck. One set (or sometimes only one bar) on the roof and the second on a Yakima Overhaul HD bed rack. The roof system has a lower weight capacity than the bed system but not because of these bars. These bars can handle the label HD. I use my truck for work and frequently have hauled various amounts of lumber, ladders, and anything else that'll bridge the gap between the bars and have never had any worry that the bars cannot handle it. I've used the round bars in the past and have made the flex a bit. I have a set of the Streamline bars for the wife's car and I've made them flex a little. But not these. If you need ultimate load capacity then these bars should be part of your design.

As I assembled this I wasn't entirely sure I was doing it right until the very end. It is not sturdy until you get the cross bars fastened - so I was pretty worried. The cross bars are difficult to attach once you get to that point - and can be very frustrating. Yakima really should design a better way to attach and adjust. Once assembled it is a VERY useful piece of equipment - but like all Yakima stuff - over-priced for what it is. Once installed they are fairly easy to work with and I have adjusted the bases, and the height without complete disassembly. I also think that - for the price - these should come with locks for all 4 bases - not just 2. They should also come with a few eye bolt (or other attachment point) adapters - instead of being an additional purchase. I was also annoyed that I could not reuse my Jet Stream bars - and had to buy a completely new set of HD Bars for this... Yakima should offer a "trade-up" to loyal customers...

These are GREAT! They allow me to carry my work ladders on my 2018 Highlander Platinum without causing issues with the sunroof!

Received a damaged product. Seeing as how easy the finish flaked off when installing, and the fact finish was perfect over the dent in one of the bars as well as package being perfect upon delivery, I would assume the dent was done during manufacturing pre being painted so no fault of seller or shipping service. When hauling hundreds of pounds up top I don't trust damaged products. Reached out to Yakima about it and was told I would get a response in 15-30 business days (what!?). Now after return window has closed I still haven't heard from them. I love the racks/bars, but over priced for what they are and customer service is a 0. This is my 4th set of latter racks over the years and all other manufacturers have been great with quick responses to questions/help or replacement pasts as needed. Doubt I would buy from Yakima again.

All the parts are 5 star the uprights, the side bars and the crossbars. I thought Yakima was kinda expensive until I started to look for truck racks and boy I was wrong, it's the middle priced rack, I like it.

By bed rack was easy to install looks to be well made and supports weight well.
