Traveller Companion (MGP40007)

Highly recommend this book for Traveller 2nd edition from Mongoose. It's the first supplement book you should pick up.

A classic RPG that is a lot of fun to play. Traveller has been around for many years in many forms. Some would consider it the first of the sci-fi RPGs, it enjoys a lot of support and a huge fan base. I highly recommend the game!Unfortunately, Amazon once again shipped me a product with no packaging inside the box - therefore my book arrived damaged. I will be sending this book back to Amazon and will purchase another one elsewhere.

This was a gift to our son who is very happy with the book.

I like the alt5ernate rules and options given in the book. For the price the book could be a little larger.

The book had some good ideas in it. Some were house rules I'd been using already. Still nice to see them in print as alternate ways of managing the game. There were a number of typos in the text. For what I paid, that hurts. I will think hard before I buy another Mongoose product.

In the event you don't know, the TRAVELLER companion is a book about additional and alternate rules. There are the rules then there are the other rules.This is a GREAT book for those who want to expand TRAVELLER or just want some great suggestions.Highly recommended but pricey.

The book was okay, and it offered quite a few options. But, we had the still indifferent Mongoose editing and layout work that probably added about eight or nine pages that could have been used for more materials. Needs more work and the full-color pages were okay but felt like they were being overdone.

I expected more playable races.

I got this book primarily for its introduction of rules regarding experience.1 Which are nice. There's a lot fo other good stuff as well.
