Good printer for the price, but
For the price its a good color laser printer. The issues I have with it are - it uses an older set of buttons to access the menus, which can be cryptic and difficult to find at times. Also, while fine for home usage, it is slow in Copy mode - it is actually faster to print 10 copies than it is to Copy 10 copies. Why this should be, I don't know - but as an "office work horse", this is more of a reliable donkey - it gets the job done but perhaps not as fast as you would like,

No technical problems here.
I had read some pretty scathing negative reviews but I thought I would take a chance given the Xerox name. Another deciding factor was that I was able to find some pretty cheap consumable replacements on Amazon.I would also characterize most of the complaints having to do with setup. Given my extensive experience working with computers I felt that this wouldn't be a problem for me.Most of the complaints seem to deal with setting up printer drivers and the like. All I had to do was to connect to the printer and use the link they provided to download the printer driver. I also read some issues with setting up the scan to email function. While it is true that this printer will not connect to a secure email provider I did find a free service SMTPro that will allow you to use their email service without security for up to 20 emails a day. Given that I don't think I will ever go over that amount I was happy with the setup. If it ever comes down to that there is a scan to USB stick option that I can use. I should also point out that I didn't attempt to connect the printer to my wireless network. My printer sits next to my router so I just connected straight to the router. The output is crisp and the coming from an older inkjet printer it is fast to boot. The scanner/copier/sheet feeder works as advertised and as stated above I make use of the scan to email function as well. Bottom line this printer does what I want it to do at a price that I find competitive.

Don't bother.....
If I could give this printer less than one star, I would. At first it would print fine on regular paper, but jam if we tried anything else - lightweight card stock, photo paper (yes, we used laser type), labels, etc. THEN, after about 5-6 weeks, it started jamming with regular paper as well. Nothing we tried worked. Finally contacted Amazon and got a return authorized. It just left this morning on its merry way back to Amazon. And good riddance.

Very Unimpressed!
So I've been looking for a color laser printer for a while and decided to try out this Xerox because of the great price. In my opinion it was a big mistake! Maybe it's because I'm used to Brother and HP printers but this unit was terrible (I returned it). First, let me say that the actual prints are beautiful - I have no problem with the prints. What I have problems with is the actual setup and user interface. I consider myself a "techie" so I usually figure out devices pretty quickly. Not so with this one - setup is not easy, wireless setup is even worse (terrible wireless setup). Not to say I didn't figure it out because I did but even then the wireless didn't work accurately, I could never get it to work with Google Cloud Print consistently.Look at the photo I attached - it's a pic of the keypad. Besides for the number keys the buttons don't explain anything! There's a green button, yellow button, red button. Buttons with some icons with many that don't make sense either. Which button starts a copy, which button starts a fax, which button is the power button? What's the display led button on the top right, how do I get into the menu? Then there's a multi-color button on the bottom left. I know the instructions will explain it but I won't remember it and more importantly my wife and kids will NEVER figure it out. After a few weeks I decided I had to get rid of it. Now I'm looking for another and I'll go with either HP or Brother (I really love my brother laser black and white).

Great product for the price
Clear, sharp printing. Great value for the price.Easy to set up, when there was a small technical issue printing from the Mac, the Xerox tech support group was very helpful and immediately addressed the product and it has been worked fine since.About 40% as heavy as the last Xerox (predecessor to this model) that we had, which is a big plus for me.The only 2 issues is that when scanning to Email, the printer won't allow you "authenticated" accounts. Also when copying, the scanning is slower than the last Xerox printer we had but that one was also $300 more than this one, which might have something to do with it.I'd buy it again

hours on phone to set up
My old MF machine ( canon ) died so I bought this Xerox since it uses the same ink as do my Xerox printers.Once the support center opened it took me over an hour to get the ADF and the copy function working. It kept telling me I had the wrong size paper.A lot of work on the phone.... serial number on unit in two places and two different numbers !! Xerox told me the unit was still in a USA shipping facility. Well I was looking at it so ...]We did get it working after a lot of effort and now it works fine as a copier, and fax machine. I do not use it as a printer nor in a wireless mode.
