Does it ruin the paint on the wall when removed?

No not at all. And I have fresh paint as we put these up after we just painted. Looks awesome.

Do they stick if the wall has texture?

No they Do not stick To my plaster walls

Are these ideal for the bathroom?

They fell right off within the hour of applying them to my wall. I wouldn’t buy. Unless you have your own adhesive etc to make them stick
