How do you use these?

These pins / fasteners are shaped like a nail with a round head at top and two flat length called legs or prongs. These legs are made of soft metal and are of two slightly different lengths to allow easy separation. To apply these, you need to poke a hole into the material/materials where you want to it to be installed and push the legs through the hole. Please note that the legs are not strong enough to make the hole, you should use a pin or blade or screw driver to punch a hole. Once done the legs are separated and bent outwards, thus securing the pin. This brad pins do not otherwise require any specific installation tools but a light hammering can help tighten the grip of the legs.

Good quality pins but not very satisfied with the length. I was hoping they were longer so it can be used to poke through thicker surfaces as well.
