Easy Setup and Great Shade
The product was easy to set up and took about 30 minutes from start to finish. It was exactly as described and works great for our patio area. It provides nice shade, looks good, and was definitely worth the purchase. I would recommend it.

Better than a shade sail!
Easy to install, just what we needed! So happy to have the shade with the ability to slide open when you want.

Order at least 2 feet shorter than your dimensions.
Overall, it was a good product pretty easy to install. If it’s windy, it’s not really easy to just disconnect it and roll it back so you better plan on adding a few extra hooks to hold it open because it will slide with the wind. also, we had an 18‘4“ opening and as you can see by the picture, I ordered a 16 foot shade the standard size that was like half the cost and it worked perfectly for my dimension of 18‘4“. The screws that hold your hooks in that hold the cable seem to be a little small but time will tell if they pull out of the wood under pressure. Don’t tighten the cable too too much.

Very nice! Let there be shade!
We have four, 4' by 16' of these on a 15' (length) frame mounted to our deck. We didn't measure the actual length of each but it is a lot more than 16' (otherwise they would be almost flat). They seem well made and we think they will last a long time. The brackets look like they can come apart so you can change material if need be. Each runner comes with everything you need to install it. The only thing that worries me is the control tape as it is just a piece of cloth with holes in it. Anything bulkier, like chain, just adds weight and will get in the way when closing the shades so they would never close flush. Install tips: 1 When setting you cable length be sure that each side (short end) is equidistant so the carabiners can hang freely and won't bind/twist when opening or closing. 2 Each carabiner needs to be aligned on the track to the same distance as your cable rungs using two included set screws (ours are four foot wide runners and the carabiners/cable are three feet apart in the pictures). Adjust the runner before you hang them. 3 The cable length is a continuous run with a loop on one end. You make the other loop with a bracket at the right length and add tension with the included turnbuckle. Run the cable through the brackets, find where you need the loop (pulling tightly) and then make it an inch shorter and really heave it onto the tuenbuckle. It should be pretty tight before you start turning the turnbuckle or you will run out of tension and have to reset your cable length. 4 They give you more cable than you need so the excess will likely need to be trimmed. I used bolt cutters, normal wire snips won't cut steel cable. To avoid fraying wrap two pieces of electrical tape around cable leaving a small distance between them and cut between the tape. 5 THE STEEL CABLES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OILED! The instructions say twice a year. It's too soon for us to speak to whether or not you actually need to do this or any actual benefit but I plan on doing it once in the fall and another in the spring, when we take them down for winter and before we put them up again. I couldn't imagine oiling with the runners in place due to dripping oil on the material. 6 You need the control tape to set the same distance for each swoop otherwise you first runs will be flatter than the last. To rind the right length, figure how many swoops you are going to have and divide you length by that number. Measure the same length on the control tape and count the number of holes to get that length. Count the same number of holes for each section and cut off the excess tape. Also, keep the control tape flat when attaching. It looks bad twisted. 7 Leave some space between the shades so they don't hit each other when opening or closing, or blowing in the wind. 8 Measure, mark with a pencil, and then double check your marks before actually installing anything. Good luck!

Phoenix courtyard
The shades went up fairly easily. The shades and hardware were all in good shape. We mounted eye bolts into stucco and found that measuring out from our center point worked better. We're older and I find them a little heavy to pull so will probably work on a pully system to help with that. These are going to help so much with our center courtyard here in Phoenix (Cause everybody should have a hugh hole in here house in Phoenix. ) Not only adding shade to the courtyard but shading the windows as well. Absolutely loving them so far. I'll post again to let you know how they hold up through the summer heat.

Customer service is disappointing
These shade sails look nice, but customer service is impossible to reach. Sent a message and left a voicemail and never heard back from them. One of the sails came without hardware or instructions, so had to replace all of the hardware myself. It wasn’t cheap, I had read many reviews saying to buy stainless steel hardware to replace the existing hardware that comes with the sails, so I was hoping that since I had to do that, it would prevent issues from occurring in the future. My “stainless steel” hardware is already rusting though. I am not sure about the durability, but they seem sturdy. I did have problems getting the wire tight enough for my liking, and that was necessary because of a miscalculation I made. Otherwise, I hope these last a few years at least. Definitely won’t be able to get their customer service to do anything if it doesn’t, which is disappointing, because while the cost was ok, I still paid for them and work hard for my money.

great product
We built our own pergola, and these sunshades were perfect to finish the project. Our neighbor has them and they recommended the product to us. Only note - the cables they ride on is stainless steel while the carabiner clips to attach the sunshades are aluminum. Dissimilar metals don't like each other, and our neighbor's had rust starting to develop. We used small transparent zip ties to disconnect the two metals. It's been (almost) a year and working great so far.

Wow

Easy to install
These were super easy to install in about 30 minutes. I had a 13’ span to cover, so got a 16 ‘ length but still had 3 full panels left over to cut. I think the 12’ would have worked for the amount of drop I wanted. Someclearer recommendations on length from the vendor would be good. All in all , I’d recommend them.
