RAC Wind Up Eco Torch

Pretty good quality. The 3 LED's give an acceptable light for this type of torch. Compact and easy to store in car and it has a non-slip type cover and a wrist strap, so it should be more difficult to drop.

As my photo shows the item delivered was not as illustrated on Amazon website. The torch only lights up whilst I am constantly winding the handle which is useless given I would only need a torch in order to see to do something and it obviously leaves no hands free to do the job.Since the only way to get the torch out was to cut open its plastic bubble packaging it would be difficult now to ask for a refund. So, all in all, a total waste of money and of the earth's resources.

The plastic handle on the product snapped and this is disappointing. The plastic handle is a weak specification, the rest of the product is sturdy and strong. I had another RAC product, it was very good. I would suggest that the wind up handle needs to be metal.

Bought this for my daughter- 11years old- the wind-handle broke first day of use. When we looked at the handle, the pin was not put in properly- would have needed a hammer to push it in to correct position!!would not purchase such a flimsy item again
