Garmin 010-11215-01 Forerunner 310xt Replacement Band

Factory replacement for the original band. Was a little hard to get the band on, but after working with it, the hinges are spring loaded, and fit in eventually.

My original band was taken on and off daily and when I run I usually have it fairly snug to keep it from bouncing and moving around on my wrist. After a couple of years it tore where the band loops around the steel post. This replacement band was the same high quality as the original. It was easy to install and comes with all the right parts and tools.

I do triathlons, so my 310XT is indispensable to me. I'd have to buy a new one immediately if it ever broke. So, this replacement bad set being available is a great thing to keep my investment going when the clasp failed after a few years. The new bands are exactly like the original bands, except they are clean :-)The part of the band that has the clasp was extremely easy to put on. The other side, on the other hand, took me almost 20 minutes to get both sides of the pin in the holes and able to stay. This is the only reason this review is not 5 star.The replacement is a reasonable cost. It's original parts. And the new parts worked as well as the old. I couldn't ask for more than that, except for a little less frustration with one of the pins. For me, this was a good value.

Works as described.

Bought this for my husband couple of days ago. He put it on his watch and swam in a competition, got out of the water and his watch was gone. It came apart at the spot where the pins go in. Now he has to buy a new watch. And my husband knows what he’s doing so it’s not because he didn’t put it on right.

Perfect replacement for a broken strap. Makes the watch look new. Could be a bit cheaper though!
