Pore Filler Blurring Primer, Vegan Face Primer

I am a 39 year old male who uses this on their nose every morning after a shower. The reason why I wanted to try this out was to see how much it could help with “closing” pours and preventing breakouts. I do not use any other “acne” product. As a teenager and even through my 30s, I have struggled with random nose/bridge breakouts despite adhering to a $200+ skin routine. I have been using this product every day for for over two years now, and I have found this helps with the following: 1) hides the imperfections and levels out your skin evenly on your nose without leaving a greasy or caked feel - such a game changer with this “even” look - important to me as a guy and gives you confidence over teenage acne pitting. I’ve been told my skin has a glow - like as if you take care of yourself! 2) most definitely prevents your pores from becoming clogged or inflamed. If you are used to experiencing a breakout or so about once a month like I did, this will cut that down to 1-2 smaller breakouts for your entire year. Incredible trade-off. 3) product lasts round 10-12 months if you are using it every day (you don’t need a lot to achieve the desired results). Tip - go easy on the bottle when squeezing out as the product can kind of pop out faster than you would want it to - to avoid this, I just keep my finger close to the applicator end so that when the product releases, it goes on my finger and not in my sink and down the drain! It is hard to believe I haven’t been using this product all my life, as it could have saved me so much time and heartache over red splotchy terribleness through my late twenties/early thirties. I am sure this works just fine for the ladies, but for men out there needing something discreet, clean and easy to use, do yourself a favor and get this. I could not live without this product!! I use it to fill it large pores, ice pick and other scars. I use the tiniest flat brush available. After primer, makeup, setting powder and setting spray, I fill in the holes with this product using a brush. Once done, i apply second coat of setting spray. This product allows me to feel more confident. There is absolutely nothing like it!! See the drastic before and after. I attached a pic of the brushes I use for reference as well. The red brush is actually a paint brush I got at Michael's. The white one is the ELF precision concealer brush.

I have always had very oily skin and battled acne when I was younger. So yes I have HUGE ugly pores ! I have tried and tried ways to hide them. When I came across this and read the reviews I decided to give this a try. First I have been using Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser. I did a review on it about 6 months ago and gave it 5 stars which I still stand by due to its price $4.45 for the same exact size of this NYX and the fact it does help. When I got this I had very high hopes and was disappointed. I read articles and watched videos to try to improve the way it hid my pores. In all honesty I did learn a better way to put it on than what I was doing and did get a bit better! I thought to myself it looked very close to the results I got with Baby Skin. So I did a test and I think you can see who wins but it is very very close. I will let you decide. The first picture is my big pores (and big nose) with nothing on my skin at all. No Moisturizer or lotion or anything ! The second picture is one side the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and the other side is Baby Skin Pore Eraser. For all fairness to to the test I applied both with a cotton round make up cloth (that I pushed in my pores). Then I used Sephora perfect foundation 22 light natural with a sponge mostly on the cheek to nose areas. Then with a brush I applied a very light amount of Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse color 20. My Powder on top was MAC NW35. The Blush was Maybelline Fit Me color medium nude. So which side looks better as far the pores go? To the left of my nose or to the right? Leave me a comment and let me know. I think personally the side with the NYX looks a bit better. From about 4 to 5 feet away it looks identical. I kept trying different methods and had a crazy idea. That would be the last picture which I think is the best but still close. On that picture I found if I applied the Baby Skin first and the applied The NYX Cosmetics on top and the same as above there after then it looked even better. The reason I give this 4 stars rather than 5 is due to the price for such a small amount and it does not come out real smooth either. But it has no smell and caused me no reactions and lasted all day! I think it is a good product. I like the tint it has too that Baby Skin does not and it feels less oily than baby Skin. On Picture 2, The right side of my nose is the NYX and the left side is Baby Skin. Pretty close but I vote for NYX. I think together they do even better (picture 3). You be the judge. I am very curious which side you think is better. I would love to hear about some other pore hiding makeup you might have found that is better as well as better ways to get max results from this. I got this to try on my pitted acne scars. The first few times I put it on, I wasn't at all happy. But then I got it down. It just took me a few times to figure out how I need to put it on. It does take a lot for me to do both my cheeks that are scarred. But it is definitely worth it! It's a tiny bottle for the price though. But still, I'll keep buying it. It didn't completely get rid of the scars but it definitely made them look smoother. I'm very happy with the results. What I did was put some on, the turned a cool blow dryer on my face to dry it, and then put another layer on and dried that too. It takes a while to dry, and you feel like it'll easily rub off. But it has stayed on now for a few hours. I didn't need to put foundation over it, it covered pretty good. I just used NYX translucent powder, using a fluffy brush VERY LIGHTLY dusting over it so not to disturb it while it wasn't dried yet. What I love most about it is that unlike concealer or foundation, it doesn't settle into lines and doesn't look caked at all (I'm 47). That's why I decided not to put my foundation over it. It stayed looking nice. I'll try to come back and add before/after pictures when I have time. Just remember if you don't like it at first, don't give up on it. Keep trying ways to put it on. I have to put a lot, like I said, and just very lightly pat it with my finger. It smooths out and blends almost naturally.

As soon as you start to read the reviews for this product, change the way they show you the reviews from "Top-Rated" to "Most Recent". If you don't, the first comments are from 2018 - a time when this product was the bomb-diggity! Unfortunately, the product has gone downhill. And I mean WAY downhill... So, I purchased this product in July of 2019. It was flawless in every way known! I loved this stuff and shared it with my daughter's teenage friends. I used this miracle powdery substance every day! And eventually, I ran out. So, I purchased more in July of 2021 and I was excited to use it again. I really loved this stuff! It arrived in the mail and I opened it up and went straight to the mirror to put this glorious product on my face. I squeezed the tube and nothing came out at first so I shook it up. I tried again and it kinda 'coughed' out some of whatever was in this tube and it was a mess in my hand, like an explosion of soft dirt. I was perplexed so I tried it again and well... not only was it all over my hands, it was on my mirror, my makeup table, my shirt, my hair, on the floor, and even some on my dog! I was like - ok, this is a messed up order. Always giving the benefit of the doubt, I order more. Well, nothing changed and I have no idea what happened to the previous product but this ain't it!! I feel like they put out this fantastic product and when it became popular, they trimmed their ingredients list down to get a higher return. The ole bait and switch routine. I see all the other comments and they are just like mine with the same experience. I purchased the last container in September of 2021 so now that it is May of 2022, I feel they have had ample time to fix this issue. I will not purchase it again, ever.

Felt like a powder coming out in clumps. Felt really dry on my face.

This is a game changer. It will hide all of your pores and you can wear it by itself instead of a foundation or you can put a foundation on top of it. I love it because it comes from a cruelty free company also and it is not super expensive.

This is my go to for smoothing out my deep pours. I've tried so many brand and I keep coming back to this one! I highly recommend this one!

Me he comprado este primer por varios motivos, para empezar tengo muchisimos productos de NYX y aun tengo que encontrar uno que no me guste, este en concreto he visto que muchas youtubers lo comparan con el Porefection de benefit solo que mas barato, la gente que dice en los comentarios que no funciona nose si es que no han comprado el mismo que yo o que pero es una autentica pasada!!! Tiene una textura super densa al igual que el de benefit y te lo aplicas solo en las zonas donde tienes los poritos marcados, dando pequeños toques y extendiendolo y sinceramente aun estoy alucinando, parece magia!! absolutamente todos mis poros se han ido POR COMPLETO!! Es verdad que el bote es bastante pequeñito pero con un poquito ya tienes suficiente, este primer sin duda de todos los que he probado, y no han sido pocos es el mejor de largo en lo que a poros se refiere, si quereis una alternativa al de benefit que vale una pasta este sin duda es para mi igual de bueno por menos de la mitad del precio, bravo nyx :D
