Game changer for my in studio and on the go set up.
I absolutely love the Glide Gear BFS 100 Butterfly Scrim! I’ve been using it in my studio for a while now, and it has seriously leveled up my lighting. It’s super easy to set up and take down, and I really appreciate that it comes in three different sizes — so versatile for different shoots. The light control is amazing. Whether I’m shooting portraits or product photos, it gives me that soft, even light that looks so clean and professional. Definitely one of those pieces of gear that makes you wonder how you ever worked without it.

Great Value
It’s a little flimsy, but you can’t beat the surface area for the price. Very nice being able to use different sizes. I’m not sure how well it would hold up in high winds at 10x10 without lots of tethers though

The 8ft option has some issues but otherwise good.
It's a great scrim, I just had to deduct one star because the 8ft option has some issues. The fabric is too short which creates a lot of tension on the black attachment cords, making it almost impossible to attach. I managed, but now because of the extreme tension it warps the frame. All it needs is either a bit more of the fabric or longer attachment loops to ease some of that tension. I hope the manufacturer will adjust. I am debating to make my own larger loops to ease the tension, but I wish I didn't have to. Once the 8ft frame gets attached to c-stands, it can un-warp the frame but I wish it wouldn't need all that. It makes it harder to operate and to make modifications, I am fighting the force every time I want to change scrim angle etc. The 6ft worked just fine, didn't warp.

8x8 no good, bag no good. rest is acceptable
8x8 bows as another user mentioned. Burned quite a bit of time trying to get it set up and flush against a big window frame. Diffusion is fine, and would use if no better alternative was available, but the bag is infuriatingly tight. could have made it 2 inches bigger and saved the user the struggle of trying to pack it in

Nice budget Scrim usable in 3 sizes, but remember you need sturdy C stands to use it!
This is a nice scrim kit that you can assemble in 4, 6 and 8 foot sizes. Everything breaks down and fits into a supplied bag. Setup and tear down is reasonably quick and the whole thing is fairly light weight to carry. They include everything you need to setup the frame EXCEPT for the main stands. You will need two sturdy C stands with grip heads to attach the (supplied) clamps to. Be sure you have fairly heavy stands that you can sandbag because if you use this outdoors it's going to be like a big sail and a gust of wind could send the whole thing flying. If you don't care that the scrim is stretched taut, you can put it on the frame with just the four corner loops and it will pretty much stay put. If you want it to be tight and wrinkle free you can use the included elastic ball ties. They give you enough to tie off every single grommet in the frame. The elastic ball ties seem kind of short to me. This makes them harder to stretch and put in place, it also puts a lot of force on the scrim. So on the good side it will hold things really tight, maybe too tight if you use all of them. I think it would have been better if they made them about an inch longer, this would still hold the scrim tightly but would have made it easier to get the ties on and off. As other people have said, I wouldn't use all the ball ties unless you absolutely have to, just use enough to keep the scrim tight. Aside from using it outside, this is good for taking some high power COB LED lights and diffusing them into some nice soft light. It's big enough you can put several lights behind it at once. With colored lights you can turn it into a nice color background. The main use I was planning for it was to put it in front of a large window in my studio. Particularly in the winter direct sun shines straight through the window against the walls and floor making the room very hard to light. This scrim will cover the entire window so instead of intense sunlight it will just become a very large soft light source for the whole room. Great way to make use of sunlight.

I've been using this for a couple of months and although I'm yet to test it outside in a breeze, it has been fantastic on indoor shoots. Does exactly what you need it to and the different sizes come in really handy. Only complaint would be the frame isn't very heavy duty and tends to twist/ warp easily, but this hasn't affected it's use at all and I've kept the rating at 5 stars due to the fantastic price point. The fact that it also folds down into a little case is super useful, making it easy to store. This seems to be the best value for money diff frame option around and I will be buying more!

Tried and tested on shoots, had it for 2 Months now. It definitely was worth to me. The cloth wraps so tightly that I found myself not using the extra black cable strings. So far no bending of metal for me too
