Miracle-Gro EverGreen Multi Purpose Lawn Seed 1.6 kg - 56 m2, White

Love the Miracle Gro grass seed it is amazing, I didn't think at first it would grow as the germination isn't as quick as it states on the box but the grass is lush when it does grow and with the size of the box I managed to grow a lawn with a size of 8m x 5m it covered 40sqm which I was surprised it would cover all that and the grass comes up nice and thick when it grows. It took about 16 weeks to get to the stage in the picture but was well worth the wait, ready in time for summer. Very pleased and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to grow their own lawn it's a cheaper option to turf if you have the patience.

Grows unbelievably fast 😂 had fully grown grass in less than 2 weeks. The grass itself looks great - lovely thick green glossy blades. I've since bought more to held thicken the rest of my lawn (originally bought to fill a gap after having patio laid). Handy box with shakey hole things to help spread it out.

Germinates quickly and evenly, looks good so far

It was slow to start germinating but really pleased . It’s been about three weeks and growing nicely even the little bare patches are starting to grow Happy with results so far

There's a lot of bad reviews on this product saying that the seeds don't work. I couldn't help but notice though that those reviews were from people re-seeding in March & April. If those people are in the UK then I'm not surprised none of their seeds germinated, this is way too early for the UK. This year in particular, night-frosts only stopped from 1st week of May. In the box though you are getting pretty average grass seeds and re-seeding/over-seeding at low temperatures will result in a very low-yield. I've used these seeds in the scorching summer before (whilst watering regularly out of direct sunlight) and you will see these seeds germinate in as little as 3 days. It's the heat and the water that make the seed casing super soft and they germinate super quickly. I spread a box of these on a small patch in early may and they took about 14 days to germinate, it was still a little too cold 1st week of may though so I wasn't expecting much to be honest. I noticed on the box it suggests these can be sown from March to October which I think is catching people out. That might be the case for some countries but definitely not for the UK. Here it will be more like May - October. Overall, you get what you pay for I think. It's in a nice box which you can easily use to spread. If you are a keen gardener though and want to reseed your lawn and have gone to to the trouble of scarifying and aerating then you shouldn't buy these... go and buy some premium seeds instead. PS. Make sure you press the seeds into wet soil (even if you are overseeding). It will be slightly warmer for them and when they germinate they need good contact with the soil. Also use a very fine spray when watering otherwise you will dislodge the seeds.

Grows really fast and my lawn looks so much better, thick, green and soft. I will definitely buy it again if needed.

The picture speak for itself I think. In only 1 week we have no more patches and now our garden looks perfect with very healthy and bright green grass, I used only one box and that's enough for my garden, next year I will put seeds more if needed.
