Ringside Leather Heavy Bag - Unfilled (Red)

Reasonable quality bag, and very fast delivery. US to UK in one week (even at Xmas),

…is that it doesn’t come with a way to hang it. (It does also come empty but I expected that.) I know everybody’s situation is different, but my daughters sensory swing still had a hanging attachment for the underside of floor/deck studs included, that worked perfectly. I’ve been to a few hardware stores and nobody seems to know how to hang this thing. (Amazon options for heavy bags are around $150+, which seems overpriced for a slightly more sturdy metal hook than came with the sensory swing).

Just looking at this out of the package, for the price I paid, I can't believe the quality of this bag. (I got a lower price because it's red instead of black...go figure?) The sides and the chain loops are heavy leather. Sturdy stitching, The ends are heavy vinyl, and the top is actually vented, which is awesome, so moisture doesn't get trapped and whatever you fill it with doesn't get all mildewy. The hardware is heavy duty, and the chains are attached to a swivel. All you need is your ceiling hanger, and you're in business. I plan to line this with something soft (an old blanket or a sheet of foam) and fill it with rubber mulch. I will update this review once it's in use.

Its great, just didnt realize how much work to stuff it but it was well worth it.

Admittedly I’m a beginner but this bag is standing up to everything I’m dishing out. The real leather is particularly nice and will last forever. No issue with the fasteners or the supplied chains and rings. I had to secure my own ceiling mount, but once that was done, hanging the bag was easy, albeit a two person job. As with any unfilled bag, it will only be as good as the filling. Checked YouTube and found a number of suggestions. Settled on using 70 lbs of sand in seven, 10 lb ziplock bags interspersed with fibreglass insulation. Had to repackage once to get the hang of it, but now everything is working well. Total weight, including chains is just over 90 lbs. Would recommend.
