For MBA or senior level undergraduate supply chain management courses. A Strategic Framework for Understanding Supply Chain Management Borne from a course on supply chain management taught at Northwestern Universityโs Kellogg School of Management, Supply Chain Management introduces high-level strategy and concepts while giving students the practical tools necessary to solve supply chain problems. The Sixth Edition weaves in compelling case study examples, providing students with clear insight into how good supply chain management offers a competitive advantage. On the flip side, students also learn the dangers of poor supply chain management, and how it can damage an organizationโs overall health and performance. Using a strategic framework, students are guided through all of the key drivers of supply chain performance, including facilities, inventory, transportation, information, sourcing, and pricing. By the end of the course, students will walk away with a deep understanding of supply chains and a firm grasp on the practical managerial levers to pull in order to improve supply chain performance. Review: Straight to the point and under 15 pages or less! - Acquire this book as a supplement to the required book that I have for a graduate class. It's amazing how one author to the next can explain the same concept with half the effort! Reading this book is everything that's germane to the topic while avoiding unnecessary filler and platitudes that seem to just be there to make the book longer. If you're frustrated with a Supply Chain management book required for either graduate or undergrad this is a great supplement that hits on all the key points in such a way that it would be approached if you were actually in the office. Review: Good book - Used for class. Very informative

Terrible condition.
This book is literally falling apart. The spine of the book is detached from the cover and is tearing in numerous places. Itโs awful to use because itโs going to fall apart completely any day now!

Kindle Rental--Just Say No.
This review is only for the Kindle Rental Version. The content of the book--great! Easy to understand and learn with. Kindle Version--You can only use it on two devices, which really defeats the purpose of getting it. I have my phone on the go, my ipad at home, and Kindle Cloud or PC at work. I need to be able to use my textbook when it is convenient for me to study.
