Delicious but too costly
These crackers are delicious and are one of the few that are completely whole grain. They are slightly sweet but, oddly, they pair very well with savory toppings. At the same time, they can satisfy the sweet tooth if there are no fruits or other sweets in the house. But, I don't understand what happened to the price. Over $8.00 for a box of crackers is obscene. I see them in other markets for less than $4.50. As much as I like them, I will not pay that much for a box of crackers. Crackers are not a luxury or gourmet food. If the price comes down to something reasonable I'll buy them again.

Slightly Sweet With a Crumbly Texture
I adore these crackers, especially when topped with an extra sharp cheddar. The slight sweetness complements stronger cheeses and salty flavors. If you've ever had a cheese board that contains honey or fruit preserves, you'll understand how well a sweet accent plays against, say, roquefort. Even parmesan reggiano. The whole wheat lends a crumbly, almost soft texture, and a nutty flavor. You do have to like a little sweetness in your cracker, however, to appreciate these. Great Cracker for Tuna!
Our crackers arrived in perfect condition. I was on the hunt for a whole wheat cracker to use with sardines, tuna, salami, etc. This was our first time ordering and tasting Carr's crackers. These are crumbly and taste like sweet wheat. We love them! I promptly went back onto Amazon and ordered a case of them for packed school lunches because my children enjoyed them so much. I recommend you try one box before ordering multiple because the texture is not like other crackers and that may bother some folks.
