32 ft usb cable enabled me to print to my printer from another room

I have two of these cables. One is 30 feet. The other is 100. These seem to be unidirectional. For example, the 30 foot cable is attached to a laser. It will only work of the “chip” end is on the laser size. It will not work if the “chip” end is connected to the computer. It should be noted the 30 foot cable does not come with a power supply. It is powered by the device. Just FYI, I tried plugging the 100 foot cable power supply into the 30 foot cable and placing the “chip” end nearest the computer and it made no difference. In any case, I got it to work with my 130 watt laser and I’m happy. I’d buy again!

The length was ideal for connecting a camera to my laptop and the quality of the video was excellent. However after a single use the cable stopped working. Even though the cable lights up it nonlonget transmits the video signal to the laptop. When I plug the camera directly to the laptop it works, so I know the cable is the issue. I tried everything, even powering up the cable with the power adapter that came with it but the cable is dead. I was happy at first but disappointed in the end.

I'm producing a show that requires the use of a Stream Deck that's far away from the computer. This cable is able to power and operate the deck flawlessly. I've not tried this cable for any other purpose, but for voltage and signal of USB2, it does exactly what I need it to do.

I originally thought this was not going to cut it, but I figured out a combination that worked. I was trying to power a blynclight that needed to be at least 25 feet of cable run from my computer. Initially, just using this cable, from my laptop, with the power adapter and a 3 foot cable to the blynclight, it wouldn’t power up. I added a powered USB hub at my laptop and then plugged this powered cable into the hub, and that did the trick. So buyer beware, this might not cut it by itself.

I needed to give video "tours" of a small office/warehouse business and this was just the ticket. The powered USB extender worked great and was a lot cheaper than any of the wireless alternatives.

Tried to hook up a camera 50' away from a laptop with joined USB cables and computer wouldn't recognize the device. Problem was the length of the standard USB cable was beyond the 16'5" maximum limit. Plugged the cable into the videocam and the computer recognized it. Problem solved.

Cannot power devices since it uses all the power for the integrated repeaters. 5V 2A Power supply not included. Luckily I had one. It works pretty well once given power to the female plug.
