The atomic clock (supposedly) I have runs 15 minutes fast! Drives me crazy and was not cheap. It got the temp right but that's about it. This clock is large and inexpensive and keeps perfect time. Sometimes you get more than you paid for.

We like to have a wall clock in our bathroom. It helps to keep on time when getting ready. For years we had one that had a ticking second hand, and it started to drive us crazy. I saw this one here on Amazon and it had decent reviews and a good price, so I bought it. WORTH IT! We love it! It's super easy to read, even if I don't have my glasses on, and it's super quiet - no more maddening ticking secondhand. I will admit, if it's late at night, and it's very quiet, and you listen very hard, you might hear a faint humming coming from the little motor. But on the day-to-day everyday noise level, you hear nothing. The perfect analog wall clock!

While this clock does not tick, the mechanism does make an audible noise. It sounds like a poor quality bearing. It's not loud, but if you need a clock to be actually silent, this is not it. I have other other silent wall clocks that really are silent. Other than that, this is a good clock. A big plus is that the lens is plastic, not glass. Some other clocks have glass lenses that shatter into gazillions of tiny sharp pieces when they break. The "HIPPiH" logo is not attractive but it's acceptable.

Very nice item overall. It comes in a proper carton box. the dials are easy to read. The styling is subdued but exudes classic beauty. The second hand glides silently around the face, instead of the quirky click in older clocks. I also like the hanging piece included in the box. This dispenses with the need to find a screw or nail to hang the clock. The hanging piece fits snugly. If there is one drawback, that's the absence of a battery compartment cover. But I wouldn't worry too much on a clock that costs only $12. It is good value, considering how expensive everything is nowadays.

I like the clock. The second hand sweep is smooth and the clock is easy to read, quiet and the price is right. However just before delivery I get an email from the seller saying the clock works best and lasts longer with "Carbon Zinc" battery. Apparently an Alkaline battery will shorten the life of the clock works. First, why was this not in the product description, and second - I can't find carbon zinc batteries. It would have been better to at least include a battery with the clock. Not sure how long this clock will last now. Update: Oct 25/2022 - Clock just stops running for no reason. I have to restart by moving battery on and off the battery contacts. No reason for this. I am using the "special" carbon/zinc battery. I have reduced the star rating for this new problem. I initially liked this clock, but now don't recommend a buy. Update: Nov 13/22 - Now the clock is loosing about an hour each week. JUNK - DO NOT BUY THIS CLOCK!!!!

Finally something that does not tick! At least for now.. The music in the background is coming from my son's room yes it's really loud- teens lol.. Anyway, I was worried because the reviews are so mixed on this.. But black Friday had a really nice sale and I said for less than $10 bucks you can't beat it.. Customer service was great even before delivery.. They sent a troubleshooting tip, I'm assuming after other people had a problem.. I don't know if it helped me at all (I guess it did) I just followed what they said lol.. So I'll pass it along here.. As per customer service, to prevent any issues, when installing the batteries put the positive side of the battery completely in first then the negative side.. And that's what I did... Hoping it lasts (fingers crossed)

like the first one so much bought another. After several months one stopped working but I didn't contact the company but I did post a review that one had stopped. Loved these clocks great price and easy to read from a distance and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised when the company selling these emailed me and offered to refund my purchase or replace the one that had stopped working for free. They sent me a replacement clock even though they really didn't need to but I'm happy to have both clocks again. Great people to buy from am very pleased with both the clock and the customer service

This clock came right on time (no pun intended!) and worked out perfectly. I had tried replacing my $8 wall clock from the drug store I’d had for 12 years with the same thing from the same place - no luck. After two duds from the drug store which didn’t survive 24 hours, I found this on Amazon. Although twice the price of my original, I wasn’t too confident. I was pleasantly surprised. Has worked perfectly - accurate to iPhone standards and the sweep second hand means it’s perfectly silent. Clean lines and very easy to read up high. Hopefully I get a decade of service out of this one too.

For 18 months it ran great - silent and has kept time perfectly. However more recently it makes a whirring noise. I'm using a rechargeable Duracell battery and it's only needed a couple of recharges in that time.

It is exactly as it described. No clicking sound. I find it a bit small for my wall, but I should have used a piece of paper to test the size before purchase.

It's sturdier than I expected for the price. Good clear face. Nice to have the 'hook' included. Obviously keeps accurate time - so does every other clock nowadays.

I would have given it 5 stars if it weren’t for the slight blue tinge on the plastic cover. Otherwise, it’s just what I was looking for.
