Q: Which of these primers is best for kitchen cabinets?

Aqua Lock will work over most kitchen cabinets. Adhesion works best with the proper cleaning and prep work before applying the primer to insure adhesion.

Q: It says it's "sealer", but never said what it seals. Does this guard the drywall against water damage, i.e. is it water proof?

If you scroll down and read through the product description you will see that it includes drywall as a substrate it has excellent sealant properties for. The description also says that it can be top coated with latex or oil-based coatings. It's a primer not a finish. How waterproof your project ends up being will depend on the combination of primer and finish. This is a good product if properly applied and top coated, but no finish is waterproof in a flood.

Q: Can it be used for pool?
