Great surface primer
Used it as a primer on a newly drywalled ceiling and it covered well and sealed the surface really good. We applied paint over this primer and it spread really nice and we saved quite a bit of paint using this primer first. I does need time to cure before applying paint and it is very low odor almost unnoticeable. Great product as a primer for drywall and msg also.

Aqua Lock products have no comparison
Years ago I did my kitchen cabinets in Giani Coconut White. Sadly one drawer suffered every time I pull it out and reached for a utensil. My ring rubbed off the paint under the handle. Now, the cabinets had been pressboard brown 42 yrs ago. They had been pickled, painted, multiple times, and finally Gianied, with numerous coats of sealants . I realized that removing the handle and doing a deep sanding was labor intensive. I wondered if a touch up, using Aqua Lock White would do the trick after sanding. To my great surprise it went on very easily. It leveled out with the remaining paint. I am very pleased with all the Aqua Lock products I have used. They are far superior and preferred by refinishers. Now I know why.

Good for galvanized
Works good for an old galvanized steel windmill. Good coverage and solid base

good product but impossible to keep clean in this color
Product applied well over PT decking, had pretty good texture and appears to be durable, however because of the texture it's impossible to keep reasonably clean on our ramp. Also the texture is not adequate for frost or icy conditions. So if you need a textured surface in a low traffic or generally clean area this would be a good choice.

Great adhesion and hides stains
Comes well packaged without leaks or dents to the can. The primer goes onto stucco or wood in a thick coat without much dripping. It seals and covers old paint with a single coat. I use Benjamin Moore paint as the final coat as it looks fabulous.

Arrived complete 'cured', chunky, impossible to stir. Threw it out.
Paint arrived completely useless. We tried to stir and mix up, but the walls were dry and the paint never spread. After 20 minutes we gave up and threw it out. I think the problem with Insul-x. I used to love this stuff, but lately the last few cans have gone bad quickly or just been too thick and chunky to be paintable. (Hint: use a putty knife?)
