Shower Cap - Blue Dot Pattern, Vinyl material, elastic band, extra large, large, won’t fall off your head,

I have tried many shower caps before and it was very hard for me to find something good for my head. I have long hair coming down to my mid back and keeping it dry is really important to me to prevent frizz and oiliness. Most shower caps made in China were probably also to be sold on the Asian market, because anything made for Asians is too small for the rest of the world. None of them would cover my whole head and the water would always wet my hair. Finding this cap was literally a lifesaver. Even though it's also made in China (obviously), it was most likely intended for sale on the Western market. It is REALLY stretchy and most importantly it covers my hair fully. I can tie up my hair in a bun and there still will be room. My hair NEVER gets wet in this cap. This is my second time purchasing it. The first one I ordered on eBay and it was about $4 there! I will now buy from Amazon and will always stick with this amazing cap. Too bad it's only in one pattern though, I would love to see more designs. TIP: Hang it up to dry so it will last you a long time. The first cap I made a mistake with and neglected letting it dry after showering and it got covered in mold after a while.

This is by far the best shower cap that i've used, especially for all women of color who carry braids or have big bulky hair.These covers your whole hair whereby none of your hair is out or gets wet.Get this, you will not regret it

My shower cap was so old that there was no elastic capability left. I searched high and low for a replacement. Finally, I bought a "jumbo" cap at the dollar store. Um, yeah.. jumbo if you are a toddler! Next, I searched the internet and read tons of reviews. I decided on this one because it's plastic, attractive, and a lot of people said it fit their head. I am happy to say that I love the material, the pattern, the pretty lace, and most of all — the shower cap fits! Granted, it's kind of a tight fit (I have long hair and a jaw clip under it), but it keeps the water out and I only wear it for the duration of the shower. It's exactly what I needed.

Update 1/07/2016 - I purchased this shower cap in April of 2015. I've used it every day, but now that it is January, just over 8 months later, the elastic has become pretty stretched out, so it no longer fits tight to the head and a one-inch section of the shower cap has torn, near the elastic, so it now has a hole in it as well. Since I've handled it very gently, I had hoped this shower cap would last much, much longer than 8 months, but apparently it just isn't very good quality. (By the way, this was with daily, DRY, use - just used for keeping hair up in bath, not even shower) Original review: I'm happy "enough" with this shower cap because it is certainly bigger than the hair color processing type cap I was using before. Buyers should be aware, however, that if you're looking for something to cover yet not smash big bangs or "tall" hair, this isn't going to do the trick. While it's pretty roomy width-wise, it's not really tall, so even with the rim pulled all the way up to your hair line on your forehead, the weight of the shower cap material is going to cause it to fall in on top. It might not completely smash down bangs, but it isn't going to just stay fluffed up and not touching your bangs either. The elastic rim is somewhat snug as well. It's not necessarily uncomfortable and it probably serves its purpose if you truly want to keep water out. However, I do find it a bit difficult to tuck my hair under in the back and also pull it far enough out in the front to go over my bangs without the elastic snapping back and having to re-try a couple of times. Overall, it seems like a good, thick material and it has a cute design, but it would be nice if it were just a tad taller on top.

This runs a litte smaller than I was expecting, but not uncomfortable at all. The band is tight enough to keep water out, and I can get all of my hair (Mid-back length and medium thickness) into the cap with no problem. The cap is quite thick and seems to be a durable product. I’ve had it for several months, but I’ve only used it a few times. Update: I like this shower cap so much I bought 2 more, an extra for the house & one for the RV. They are the only caps I can find that I can fit all of my hair into, and they are durable.

I thought a shower cap with terry cloth inside would be better, but that is not so. This cap is generous in size but fits snugly around your head, keeping you hair dry. It's light weight, wears well, is not expensive, and lasts a long time. I don't see any downsides.

The plastic is thick, but the shower cap is NOT extra large or even large. It is about the size of a regular cheap shower cap from the drug store or Walmart. Very disappointing.

I've been using this cap for about 5-6 months now and it works great. It's made of a quality material, I use it every other day and it still holds tight around my head. I researched a lot of caps and this one was the most affordable one I found with the quality I was looking for. My hair is long and it fits very nicely inside; the cap isn't too small or too large. I am very happy with his purchase.

Not overly impressed but it does its job. Would expect better for the price.
