Great skates. My 6 year old is a beginner, and they work great for him. Easy to put on and tighten adequately. Adjustable, so should fit him for a few years.

Easy to get on for the younger kids. Comfortable cushion according to my 7 year old son. Happy with the purchase.

The sizing was not accurately described. The skates were much too small for my grandson who takes a size 6 shoe.

they are not good for tricks and are only good for skating. Always sharpen them first or you will trip

Our 5 yr old (sneaker size 1 XW) had his first round of skating lessons this winter. So happy I bought these skates, he has had no complaints about fit. I did have a bit of a hard time when adjusting the skate size to fit him but it's been all good since then.As a non-skater, I learned (after his first use of these skates) that we should have had the skates sharpened before he used them...we did so and he had a much easier time his second time around.

These are excellent skates, even at the seemingly high price. With adjustable sizes ranging from 2-5 we hope to get 2-3 seasons out of them, so dividing the cost that way makes it a better value overall. The quality of the skates is superb and they keep my kids feet comfortable and warm.

I purchased two pairs of these skates for hockey... five year old boy and six year old girl. They seemed very comfortable for both of them right off the bat and the kids were able to skate with them very easily. But after a couple weeks the top strap kept coming undone on my boy's skates... and then a week later the same thing started happening with my girls skates. I started wrapping the strap with tap - but it still came off... so now I'm taping their ankles three times around to keep the skates tight. These are not very good skates.
