T his little hygrometer works great! It’s compact, easy to read, and gives quick, accurate readings for both temperature and humidity. I like that the display is clear and simple, even from a distance. I’ve used it in different rooms around the house, and it helps me keep track of conditions for both comfort and plant care. Very affordable, reliable, and handy to have around—I ended up buying multiples!

I got this to keep in the case with a mandolin. It's not an expensive instrument, so I'm not rabid about accuracy. I don't have anything to check it against, but if it's within a couple of percentage points, that's all I need. And I've no reason think it's less accurate than that. It comes to a reading pretty quickly. First time I checked it I learned that I was probably overdoing humidification a bit. Good thing to find out. I give accuracy 4 out of 5 only because I don't know. The size is good for keeping in the case of a small instrument like a mandolin, violin, or ukulele. I haven't had it long enough to be able to speak to battery life. It came with batteries installed, and two extra ones - a nice touch, unless it's indicative of short battery life. Time will tell. I give battery life 4 out of 5 because I don't know yet. The display is easy to read. The readout shows both temperature and humidity, with humidity the most prominent, which is what I want in this case (if you'll pardon the expression). The temperature readout is in Fahrenheit. The box indicates that it's a Fahrenheit sensor, so no changing it Celsius. At the price, I wouldn't really expect that. Because it's not explicitly sold as a musical instrument case hygrometer, it's significantly less expensive than those that are. I'll probably be buying another one.

I've had these for over a solid two years the battery has never died its easy to use, it's small so it'll fit in most reptile spaces and it's pretty cheap and works great! The accuracy can be off occasionally but only by 1-5 points so it's not horribly inaccurate and gives me an idea at what he's resting at.

These are a brilliant idea if they work properly all the time. But I'm not using them for what some might call normal use. I have a snake tub housing a ball python and needed an accurate way to measure temperature AND humidity. Though reptile combo thermometers are often expensive, they can also be frustratingly inaccurate. I was looking for something to measure what I needed and in an easy to read way. While I do think they are accurate most of the time, there have been many occasions where the internal screen has fogged up (from what I assume is too much humidity over time for it to handle). Or the humidity reading is suddenly off the charts (99%), even when placed in an air conditioned room. The temperature, however, seems to be accurate more often than not. Since these were made for most normal environments and not for...say...the jungle, you can't blame them for being a bit confused. If you're looking for an extremely accurate way to measure your reptile's environment, look elsewhere. If you want a somewhat accurate gauge for a low price, go for it. Just keep in mind that you'll have to keep an eye on your environment and husbandry, which...really, we should all be doing anyway.

Very legible - No to sure of accuracy. I just use it when driving to know when my car interior is getting too dry, so I switch to outside air for awhile

The screen barely displays. I have to shine a light on the screen in order to read it.

Tengo este higrómetro en un humidor con un sobre Boveda 72% y otro higrómetro integrado... El higrómetro integrado indica 72%, este higrómetro indica 60%...

Ne ho ordinati due: uno sembra funzionare anche se non è preciso e non si può tarare, l'altro dà dei valori a caso. Ho provato a restituire il prodotto difettoso, ma mi dice che non è idoneo alla restituzione. Pessimo!
