Presently surprised
Update: So I originally placed the traps in my garage on a table, and another on my sons dresser. After a few days of those yielded no results, I gave up on moths and I placed one trap on the ground for crickets. I placed the trap on the outside of our garage door on the ground at dusk, and this morning, out of curiosity, checked it and it had caught a few dozen small moths and a dozen or so baby crickets! Although the trap was outside, I like to think it will help keep their numbers down to prevent them from coming in my home. I'm baffled why putting the trap on the ground was more effective than a table top, as I assumed they would be flying and smell the hormones in the trap and go to it... bugs are an enigma. I will note the moths in the trap were smaller than the ones I have caught in my house. I'm not a bug expert so I do not know if they were different species or just at a younger stage in life. I do know the large moths have been in our pantry, bedrooms, and love our garage. Original This year our home was oddly infested with moths. I was hopeful to have traps so that I didnt have to spend time trying to catch the obnoxious buggers. The eavning the product arrived, I placed the traps in my sons room, next to where I clearly saw 2 moths on his wall and left them there overnight. Not a single moth. I ended up having to chase and catch the two in his room. The other trap I put in our garage, as litterally every time I would open our door, at least one moth would fly in. It's been a few days and not a single moth has been trapped. My traps are still bare. Now, I understand each bug is different and attracted to different things, but when I opened the lure, there was no smell to it like oher terro traps I have used. I'm guessing the lure was dried out? Im still going to use the traps, but relocate them the floor to try and catch crickets instead. Wished these would have worked, I REALLY hate moths. Terro is a great brand, but this particular item was a dud. Maybe I will try again and have better luck next time.

An Actual Tuurd Would Attract More Moths Than The Zero This Brand Does.
I really hat to give a bad review but people must be warned when something doe snot work at all and this brand is just that. I've used these through the years as they are the only thing that works on kitchen moths when you forget about that old box of cereal in the back of the pantry and you end up with moths. Usually once you open the little package of hormones they come flying from across the room immediately. My local store was out so I ordered these on Amazon. I would call this product s#!t but an actual steaming hot turd would attract more moths than the zero moths this brand attracted... in three days! Zero. They accidentally put in a third package of attractant and I added this as well. Nothing. Nothing in the box worked at all out of 3. Hopping up on the counter and lets say... providing your own, will result in more success. Zero stars.

Cheaper Than Others And Just As Effective..
This is the second 2 pack I have bought of these...Except that the other pack was a different brand and more expensive..So this time I got these and they are the exact same thing. Same size with sticky surface inside, lure pad that you attach, and same instructions. The only difference with these is the other more expensive brand comes already put together with all you having to do is apply the lure pad. These come flat and have to be folded where you might get your fingers on the sticky part...But its simple and the effort is very much worth the savings. Had it up and running in less than 30 sec...As to the way they work, so far this is performing the same way as the other ones I had which is excellent...Though its true that these traps attract and catch only male moths, that is all you need. It will take a few days to be really noticed, but the collection of dead moths will appear in the trap and you will notice a very discernible difference in the number of moths flying around. Without the male moths, the females can't mate and eventually the whole herd dies off...I know for a fact it works just that simply for the other brand I had was up for better than two months and got full of moths and the house was cleaned out...Unfortunately they returned for another season and I got one of these going again to corral the varmints...Though this brand doesn't mention it, the other one said that one of these can easily cover 1200 sq feet. Just enough for one to handle it in my home and I saved the other one...The two pack should be enough for near any size house... In conclusion, this Terro brand appears to be the very same product, and more importantly, is working the very same way as the other brand I bought here which was over $3 more expensive...Just remember to be patient with it and plan to leave it up for at least a couple of months. It's good deal money wise and very effective for your moth problem...( I have researched moths in the house online and don't bother to try to locate the source anymore as they suggest...I just can't find anything). Go for it....Very much recommended..

So far so good
A couple of months ago I noticed a moth flying around after my husband had left door open with no screen. I thought it was a regular moth. I was unaware of Pantry Moths. A couple days ago, low and behold I open up a cabinet door and poof a moth fly's out. I think Oh poor thing got stuck in the cabinet. Next day I open cabinet door and two moths fly out. Houston we have a problem here. So I Google cabinet moths and find Panty moths. Agg they are in everything. So far I have found them in beans, chocolate, tea, they have made a home in my cabinets. How I brought them in I do not know. One of my friends from work told me she opened a box of rice and one flew out at her house. Yesterday my Terro Moth Traps came in . I only bought 1 pack. I placed one on top of cabinets and one in cabinet. So far 4 moths in each. When I first found the moths I had placed moth balls in cabinets. That means the moth balls do not work. So here I am back I am going to order 3 more packs. So I can place them in each cabinet. I wish they killed the females as well as males but so far so good.

Somewhat expensive but far cheaper and safer than other alternatives
The TERRO Pantry Moth Traps are highly recommended. They effectively attracted and trapped moths on their sticky surfaces. The results were excellent; moths disappeared within a few days of use. This product is one of the safest and easiest traps available, delivering on its promise when other brands have failed. I couldn't be happier with the results

Wow - but with a caveat
First the unfortunate part - this product is supposed to come with two glue traps and with a "bait" for each. The glue traps were there, but one of the packages for the "bait" was completely empty. By the time I realized this, I'd opened and set up one of the traps AND THE AMOUNT OF MOTH ACTIVITY WAS UNBELIEVABLE! They were going crazy. In less than 5 minutes, there must have been over 100 moths in the first trap. As I tried to set up the second trap and realized that there was no second bait in the bait package, the moths were actually coming to find me (in a different part of the house) because I had the packaging from the first bait used. I ended up putting the second glue trap beside the first to create a tunnel of death for the moths and it seems to be working as well as could be expected. I will be ordering more traps, but I'm irked that the first package didn't come with two baits as it should have.

Speaking from experience - these are incredible!
OK - these things are LEGIT! I have been an animal trainer and bird breeder for the better part of two decades. seed moths (also called pantry or flour moths) have always been a part of life. Sometimes I wont see one for a few years and then I'll buy a batch of seed from somewhere and BOOM! - outbreak! I have always just bought the traps at the local store. Same concept...a flat piece of card stock with a sticky inside. They worked, too, but they took a while to do it. I figured that was just how it works. This trap was different - it didn't cost a whole lot more, and it looked the same. However, included are two little packets. Inside those packets are what looks like a little square of chewing gum. Somehow, the manufacturers placed some kind of pheromone on this thing. All the traps I had bought before used a pheromone, but it was somehow already in the trap. I'd set up the other traps and set them out...a day later or so I'd have one or two moths trapped, then a week later a dozen, and so on.... NOT SO with these traps! I'm not kidding - I opened the bag and suddenly, within 30 seconds I became the pied piper of mothdom. I had two moths trapped before I could even set up the trap (which takes only a few moments.) Moths were coming right at the trap with such gusto that I was in shock. Within five minutes I had half a dozen moths trapped, and the others in the room (I had a lot more than I was even aware of) were ACTIVE - something they generally aren't - frantically searching for the sweet and oh-so-sexy source of the smell. I set up two traps three days ago and I don't see a single moth left. not one. I can't imagine any possible way for a trap to work better. No, I wasn't paid for this review. No, I didn't get anything free. These things are THAT GOOD.

Very effective
Initial days it caught very few moths and flies. Subsequent days - after a week or so there were suddenly very few moths and in a month no more moths. The photo is after one week of use. The traps had caught all of them in about a month time. Very effective on fruit flies too.

Not as good as expected!
It's true to say these have caught a couple of moths but not enough. We have four of these at home in various points in the kitchen but the moths keep coming and they have caught no new moths for the past couple of weeks. It makes me think that the pheromones have stopped working already. Would I buy them again...... probably not.

Didn't work
Took long to ship and when it finally arrived it just didn't work. My wife ended up catching one or two by swatting the moths with this trap!

Its okay, not much effective
It is not attracting the moths to come and sit. Not a good reward for the amount of money charged for the product.

Seems quite effective so far
Its been a couple of days and between the two traps in the pack there are already 14 moths. I'd give it a 5 if it wasn't so expensive.
