What a nifty little gadget this is! I eat apples daily and although I’m perfectly capable of cutting them with a knife I wanted something that made chopping apples in the morning when I’m in a rush to leave for work quicker and easier without leaving a mess behind. I can’t believe I didn’t know that this little tool was out there before now. It makes chopping apples so much easier. The only difficulty I have discovered is that when the core is slightly off centre it can make one clean sweep with this tool a little trickier but still a million times easier, quicker and less messy than the usual methods of chopping apples and you actually get more apple and less waste. It feels sturdy and well made and is easy to clean. Very happy with my purchase.

It’s oddly satisfying and a big time saver for those who cut for fussy kids.The handle is comfy and very well built. If you're the kind of person who enjoys impressing people with your fruit prep game, then this is for you.One star lost as occasionally, the core likes to play hard to get and refuses to drop out without a bit of encouragement. It’s not the end of the world, but it does slow things down which isn't great when you have needy kids.Overall, it’s a great tool and dishwasher safe! So no risk of slicing a finger open when trying to clean it.

Sorry but it's not sharp,one really have to push down hard to cut through an apple.🤨

Does the job with no fuss and I get a little thrill every time the apple spreads out into a star.

The blades that cut the apple into sections are sharp, but the centre circle that decores the apple is not. Takes quite bit of effort on the initial push, but as soon as it breaks the skin it glides through. Doesn't work so well with apples that aren't symmetrical, the pieces are can be uneven with parts of the core in some.Also triggers the apple's defence mechanism of juice spray to the face.
