My dog loves it
Got this for my Great Pyrenees who is a house dog, in hopes it would keep his mind busy. Safe to say he loves it. Keeps him busy for usually 20 minutes at a time. The drawstring doesn’t work the best, and quality of material isn’t very soft, but it holds up just fine for my dog.

Good enrichment for cats too
First off, if i had gotten this for a dog i would have been very disappointed by the size. But then again maybe that's why it's cheaper than other similar products. The dimensions are listed I'm just very bad at estimating measurements and also imagining them. For a cat or a small dog though, it's the perfect size. I realize I'm not the target demographic here but when it comes to animal care and enrichment- if it benefits the animal, that's all that matters. Scent is very important to dogs, obviously... and it's also important to cats, which i think a lot of people forget. My cat likes to inhale her food and swallow it whole without chewing, which inevitably leads to it coming back up onto the carpet every time. So I use a rotation of puzzle feeders to slow her down and make her use her little walnut brain (as opposed to just using a slow feeder bowl). She's very smart and actively prefers her puzzles over a regular bowl (she will literally reject a bowl of food and shows preferences for a couple puzzles over others). The problem is she's gotten very good at all the puzzles to the point that even having them on a rotation to switch things up isn't enough anymore. She also unfortunately does not respond to catnip or catnip alternatives (we've tried them all just in case)- it's not super common but it is a genetic thing. As a result, she doesn't really get a lot of enrichment that utilizes scent so I thought why not see if she likes hunting down hidden food pieces. It's been a pretty big hit. It is both easier and harder than the puzzles. Easier in the sense that she can get more than 1-2 pieces of food at a time but harder bc she has to really search for them. I currently switch between this and a food dispensing ball, to balance out the challenge throughout the week. She also likes to dig a bit so being able to dig through the fabric strips is something else she enjoys. Once we've had a break from the puzzles for several months I'll start re-introducing them on rotation again and alternate between current puzzle and this mat. But the thing I like the most is I can just throw it into the wash as needed. There is no hand washing plastic nooks or worrying about food/crumbs getting stuck between pieces (some puzzles are just too weirdly shaped to fit into the dishwasher and others will not be able to be thoroughly washed by a dishwasher). She's happy. I'm happy. 5 stars.

Mostly love them.
I bought two of these for my dogs, this green one however, flattens out and makes it hard to hide the dog food in. It is washable so I washed it. It was better for a day or two, and then it goes flat again the one I bought in the orange and pink mixed colors stays nicely and I can hide their food well in it. They literally look at me at a certain time of the day because they're waiting for this to happen. I don't understand the difference between the two because the fabric seems the same, but it doesn't work the same. That being said, I still use it, but eventually will replace it with one that actually stands up better. They get a midday treat of about 1/3 cup of their dry dog food, and they love, searching through to find it.

Very strong chemical smell
Sturdy yet pliable, great size, and a very engaging foraging activity for my dog. It’s almost perfect, except for the very strong chemical smell. I washed it several times and let it dry in the sun before the smell faded.

Blue Heeler loves it!
Bought this to create a "job" for my Blue Heeler - making him have to work for his food. He loves to dig his snout in the grass outside so I thought this looked cute and similar. He loves it. I sprinkle his kibble in it and he will sniff and dig and eat until every bit of it is gone. He is 3 months old for reference. Its very easy to use. And my dog is highly engaged in it when I lay it out.

Works well for snuffling. Durable and engaging.
Great snuffle mat! It keeps my two miniature schnauzers exploring when I sprinkle freeze dried liver crumbs in it. Surprisingly, they never leave any crumbs behind and the fabric stays intact. I just pick it up and shake it when I get back, then cinch it and put it up.

Simply 👏 AMAZING
My 9 month old shih tzu loved it when I'd hide treats in a blanket on the couch, a distraction while I leave for work. When I heard about stimulation, boredism & the fact shih tzus don't like being alone, I found this. We received it today while on my lunch break. She hadn't been eating her kibble, (I feed her homemade food meals but offer her dry kibble) When I opened it up and put her dry kibble ink it, she started sniffing. When I got to work and pulled up my camera, I noticed she was so engaged and preoccupied, she wasn't bothered by anything. 45 minutes later, she was still busy looking for her kibble. 💯 % WIN! WIN! She didn't realize I left her and she was wore our afterwards. 👐

As you can see, it’s not terribly sturdy if you have a big chewer
My dog didn’t really like it and also it definitely would not have lasted so I gave it to another dog

Great item my puppy loves it
When I have to leave my puppy I put her dry food in this to keep her occupied. Age enjoys the challenge and the item is well made and withstands puppy teeth and doesn’t move around at all. Highly recommend!!

Very simple easy to pack away toy I got for my 2 kittens. Hide some treats in the leaves and keeps them entertained for a good period of time and then once finished simply turn inside out and pull the toggle to pack away. Very good product.

The 22” diameter is best for snuffling.
Myself & my dog really like this snuffle mat. I previously ordered a smaller drawstring mat approx 16” diameter that came with a removable suction cup & a training clicker, but the suction cup didn’t help to hold it in place on my various floor surfaces & I found it harder to “ hide” kibble between the rather stiff fabric strips. I thought it would soften up with washings, but it didn’t . This larger snuffle May with such nice brightcolours works much better! At aproximately 22” in diameter, my dog (a Beagle) is standing on part of the mat, which effectively keeps it in place, while snuffling through fabric strips & collars that are much softer & easier to hide kibble & treats. Staying in place does Kee it cleaner than being shoved all over the floors & under furniture. Both my dog & my daughters smaller dog love to chew their chew sticks on their favorite snuffle mat!
