Fantastic Mic!
Pros -Solid Build Quality -Fantastic Sound -Built in Shock Mount -Easy to physically adjust -Comes with 2 foam windscreens (one for general use [you see in most pics], and a thicker one to get right up against it) -Comes with smaller thread adapter Cons -Likely will need a cloudlifter (depending on your interface) *I'm using this with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo on a Rode PSA1 Boom Right off the bat, I'm not a audio professional, so I can't technically tell you why this mic is great. But for my uses, it is absolutely FANTASTIC! I got this to replace my AT2020 because I learned that Dynamic mics are better for picking up vocals only in front of the mic itself, and that's exactly what this does. I use this for streaming, gaming, and generally talking to friends on discord, and it's extremely nice not needing to use any software processing to isolate my voice and get a clean sound. The reason why I didn't put the price as a con is because it's much easier (and possibly cheaper) than treating my room with sound dampening foam and such. It really does a great job at isolating my voice, and running through the Focusrite, my gain can be high with almost no static from the gain being near max. This is where the cloudlifter will come in. From my understanding, it's recommended that your interface be capable of outputting ~75dB to power this mic, however the cloudlifter can boost your interface by ~25dB without introducing static. Basically the cloudlifter lets you phantom power your dynamic mic (dynamic mics don't directly take phantom power). Since you will probably need a cloudlifter, you'll also need another xlr cable because. Aside from likely needing a cloudlifter, there's not really anything negative I could come up with. It does exactly what it's supposed to do with great quality. If you're eyeing this, you probably already know that they used the SM7B to record Michael Jackson's Thriller back in the day, so it rightfully has Legendary status. If you're new into higher quality audio, I recommend the Focusrite Scarlett Solo which is right around $100. I wouldn't recommend going less than that because you start risking less clean audio. It's also a must to get a cloudlifter so you're not maxing out your gain. The volume and quality will be much better. All in all, this was a solid purchase. Audio is very subjective, so definitely listen to some sound tests on YouTube before you make your decision. While this mic is perfect for my needs, it might not be for yours. When investing in equipment like this, generally, the price reflects the quality, and you need multiple components to get it working properly. These are all things to consider before making a purchase. If you're looking for a really good Dynamic mic, you can't go wrong with this.

No regrets. Not one bit. Love this microphone.
I purchased the Shure SM7B a few years ago and have been extremely impressed with its performance. As a professional discord talker, streamer, and gamer, I was in need of a high-quality microphone that could capture crystal clear audio, and the SM7B did not disappoint. I wanted to sound like all the professionals out there. Not knowing how it would turn out. I loved it. The comments I’ve had with this mic has been surprising to how much others like the sound it produced with my voice. The build quality of the microphone is excellent. It is made of durable metal and feels solid and well-constructed. It comes with a standard XLR connection, which is compatible with most audio interfaces and mixers. The internal shock mount is a nice touch and it helps to reduce unwanted vibrations and noise from reaching the microphone. The sound quality of the SM7B is fantastic. It has a wide frequency response (50Hz - 20kHz) and a high-pass filter that helps to eliminate unwanted low-frequency rumble. It also has a mid-range boost switch that allows you to increase the clarity of vocals and spoken word. With this microphone, I am able to capture high-quality, professional-sounding audio. One of the standout features of the SM7B is its ability to handle high SPLs (Sound Pressure Levels) This means it can handle high volumes without distorting the audio, which is great for recording music or anything else with louder sources. Also its built-in pop filter and internal air suspension that helps to reduce popping and sibilance, which means less post-processing is required on your end, overall saving time. The only downside to this microphone is that it is not USB, so it needs a XLR interface to connect to a computer. And also its price point, it is an expensive microphone, but it is worth every penny if you are serious about capturing high-quality audio. I use a cloudlifter in between the mic and my Rode Rodecaster Pro sound board. Overall, I highly recommend the Shure SM7B to anyone looking for a professional-grade microphone for streamer, gamers, podcasting, voiceover work, or music recording. It is built to last and will give you the best sound quality possible, which makes it a worthwhile investment.

Impressive Sound Quality, Build, and Affordability!
I recently got my hands on the Vocal Dynamic Microphone, and I must say, it has truly exceeded my expectations on every front. From its remarkable sound quality to the excellent build materials and its unbeatable value for money, this microphone is a winner in every sense. The sound quality produced by this vocal dynamic microphone is simply outstanding. Whether I'm recording vocals for music, podcasts, or voiceovers, it captures the nuances and richness of my voice with remarkable clarity. The depth and warmth in the recordings are truly a testament to the microphone's exceptional capabilities. It has added a professional touch to my recordings that I didn't expect at this price point. The build quality and materials used in this microphone are also impressive. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, giving me confidence that it will hold up well over time. The attention to detail in the design is evident, and I appreciate the thoughtful inclusion of features like the shock mount that helps eliminate unwanted vibrations and handling noise. This microphone truly feels like a premium product, and its durability adds to its overall value. Speaking of value, I am genuinely amazed by how much this microphone offers for its price. Comparable microphones with similar sound quality and build often come with a much higher price tag, making this vocal dynamic microphone an incredible bargain. It's a testament to the brand's commitment to delivering top-notch quality without breaking the bank. In conclusion, the Vocal Dynamic Microphone has earned a well-deserved five-star rating from me. Its impressive sound quality, quality of material, and unbeatable value for money make it a must-have for any aspiring or seasoned content creator. Whether you're a musician, podcaster, or voice actor, this microphone will undoubtedly elevate your recordings to a whole new level. Don't hesitate to invest in this gem – you won't be disappointed!

Great sounding and quality microphone.
I’m not a singer or professional podcaster but do like Karaoke so i figured this would be a great mic. I prefer a mic on a stand which this is the only option for this one. Basically a studio mic. The wind screen virtual eliminates vocal pop. The only thing i didn’t realize is it does need a pre amp to be most effective so keep that in mind cause it will add to the cost of the investment. Worth the money even for an enthusiast like myself.

Amazing microphone upgrade!
While looking for an upgrade to my Rode NT-USB mic, I fell across the Shure SM7B. I quickly looked up reviews of this mic to see if it lived up to all of the hype that streamers and music producers gave it. I finally decided to invest and purchased the SM7B. Compared to my Rode mic, I was blown away with the quality difference and instantly knew that the hype was not exaggerated. It has a very nice response and picks up the vocal tones extremely well. The SM7B makes me want to go into voice acting just because how amazing it makes my voice sound. There is a good amount of bass response and depending on your style of recording you may need to use the included switches on the bottom to adjust the response. It's built extremely well and compared to other studio microphones I have tried, I really like the way this one is mounted. The XLR port is in a very handy location (unlike other mics where it comes out of the bottom of the mic). The SM7B comes with two different foam pop filters, a close proximity filter (the larger one that lets you get closer to the mic) and the smaller filter which is good for normal distances. I use the SM7B for streaming and voiceovers and it has helped improve my quality immensely. Since I'm using the SM7B with the Scarlett 2i2 USB interface, I needed a preamp to boost the gain cleanly. I went with the Cloudlifter CL-1 and it sounds amazing. I would definitely recommend going with the Cloudlifter as other preamps could introduce noise, but if you are on a budget, there are other options out there. If you're looking for a microphone that will last you a long time and sounds amazing, I would recommend looking into the Shure SM7B. Shure it's pricey...(see what I did there ;) but it's worth every cent, and I'd definitely purchase it again! If you have any questions about the microphone or my review, send me a message and I'll definitely help out!

Studio-Quality Sound — Worth Every Penny
The Shure SM7B is hands-down one of the best microphones I’ve ever used. Whether you’re recording vocals, podcasts, voiceovers, or streaming, this mic delivers rich, warm, and professional-grade sound that instantly levels up your audio game. What really sets it apart is how well it handles background noise. It captures your voice with incredible clarity while rejecting unwanted room sound — perfect for untreated spaces. It’s built like a tank, feels premium, and you can tell it’s made to last. You’ll need a good audio interface or preamp with enough gain to drive it properly, but once it’s set up right, the results are incredible. If you’re serious about your sound, the SM7B is absolutely worth the investment. A true industry standard for a reason.

Excellent Quality Mic with a Few Considerations
I've been using the Shure SM7B Microphone for a while now, and overall, it's been a fantastic addition to my recording setup. Here are my thoughts: **Pros:** 1. **High Quality:** The build and sound quality of this microphone are top-notch. It captures vocals with incredible clarity and richness, making it perfect for recording. 2. **Great for Vocals:** Whether you're a singer, podcaster, or voice-over artist, this mic delivers professional-grade results. It handles different vocal ranges exceptionally well. 3. **Aesthetic:** The design is sleek and professional-looking, adding a nice touch to any recording space. **Cons:** 1. **Power Hungry:** One thing to note is that the SM7B is quite power-hungry. It requires a decent amount of gain, so you'll need a good quality audio interface or preamp to drive it properly. 2. **Additional Equipment Needed:** To get the best performance out of this microphone, you might need additional equipment like a Cloudlifter or a preamp with sufficient gain, which can add to the overall cost. Despite these considerations, the Shure SM7B is an outstanding microphone that delivers excellent performance for serious recording enthusiasts. If you're willing to invest in the right equipment to power it, you won't be disappointed.

Read This For "Commentary", "PC Users", OR "YouTube"
I have absolutely no experience with microphones.. I purchased this mic after experiencing major noise with my Yetti Pro.. I even purchased the extended warranty with the Yeti Pro but as I went to return it, I noticed that the Tiger Direct store had been closed down.. So, I purchased this mic.. I use the mic for commentary while playing video games.. I didn't realize until afterwards that this mic was XLR and couldn't just be plugged into a PC like the Yetti could.. So I then purchased a Scarlett Solo to get my (XLR) mic compatible with my PC (USB).. Well I THEN found out that this is an extremely LOW sound output (quiet) mic.. So, I have to max the output volume on the Scarlett Solo for it to get an acceptable amount of volume.. But, in doing that, the quality becomes slightly distorted and doesn't even sound as good as the Yetti did (which has TONS of output volume).. So I did some more research and learned that I need 2 very short (3 Foot) Low Noise XLR cables and a "Cloud Microphones Cloudlifter CL-1" which apparently "Gives passive mics up to +25dB of additional clean active output (volume)"... SO..... Once I get all this setup, I am VERY confident that it'll be an amazing sounding mic for commentary because even without the Cloudlifter, when I have to add Tons of volume in the editing process (due to having the output gain on the Scarlett Solo turned down to about 75 % to prevent distortion, it still sounds pretty good.. It just picks up a lot of background noise do to the tons of editing required to bring the sound levels up so far... But if you're willing to invest about $600 to $650 for everything that I've mentioned here to get the correct amount of power from this beauty, it's well worth the money.. If you're looking for the cheap route to commentary on a PC, go with the Yetti.. It won't sound as good.. But it will definitely be passable and it what most YouTubers use anyway.. This setup that I describe will just give you a great advantage because you'll have recording studio quality commentary.. And in YouTube, commentary quality is VERY important.. This is indeed an amazing mic though (Regardless of what you're using it for) and I recommend it to anyone that does or does not understand what kind of mic it is and how it operates.. If you don't know, do some research and buy it anyway :)

Its ability to capture rich, warm tones across a wide frequency range. Whether I'm recording vocals, instruments, or voiceovers, the SM7B consistently delivers crystal-clear sound reproduction. The bass roll-off and mid-range emphasis controls allow tailored sound shaping, adapting effortlessly to different recording environments and preferences. One thing to note: This microphone requires a good amount of gain, so pairing it with a high-quality preamp or interface is recommended for optimal performance. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Der absolute Klassiker, was soll man dazu noch sagen? Einfach genial!
Was soll man noch groß sagen?
