Very good product and excellent tech support.
I purchased this drive and it works perfectly. I did have an issue with my computer seeing the drive. I worked with the best tech support I have ever had to resolve the problem which we did. I would purchase from them again anytime.

Plug and play, inexpensive and works as expected!
Believe it or not there are still some applications that people need and they still have them on floppy discs. This reader was plug and play and worked perfectly. May not need it again but the price point was affordable and after only one use, I feel like I got my moneys worth.

Good but tricky
I am giving the four stars NOT because the seller did anything wrong. If you get this, keep in mind you need to use it on an older system. I have a system that has Windows 10, but it’s a brand new laptop and it was a nightmare trying to get these going.BUT when I got an older system, the photos from the floppy discs were easy, I’ve yet to be able to get the documents. I’ll have to find assistant even older than the one I used for the photos. Videos are pixelated and a little rough. also keep in mind that there may be moments where you have to unplug it and plug it back in. On initial set up, pay attention to the instructions, put the disc in first, then plug the system into the laptop. After a while of uploads, it may have some issues so unplug it and plug it back in. It is definitely worth the price if you have patience. Saw photos of my kids. I didn’t even know I had

Another failure
I might be a bit frustrated but being honest and sincere, this drive is a bust. it was unable to read a disk, then it read the disk fine. I was unable to see files on some disks, but reinserting the disk would show the files were there. I'd use copy and move with files I needed to backup, and it didn't work. The errors varied. Some say can't copy file, others went right to "disk not formatted" and that is just ridiculous. The files were still showing and not only that, I was even able to open the files and viewed them right from the floppy and yet this thing would not communicate with a USB port for copying or backing up. I used USB 2 and 3 ports on a desktop and 2 laptops trying to back the files to the respective hard drive and even tried directly to a USB thumb drive. Fail Fail Fail. I cannot judge others who had no problems but the drive I got was the worst experience I've had in years. No way is every single floppy disk I have damaged. I was able to get a few files to move but it only worked on Windows XP. Did not get any files to move using Windows 7 or Windows 10. No doubt this drive is defective or it's junk quality. Either way, there is no excuse for the functionality to be questionable on an item like this. After all these years, manufacturing one should not leave any room for error. A 15 minute job turned into several hours wasted just to try and read 7 disks. The year 1995 called and wants the tainted parts from this floppy drive back!

Works like a charm
This device works like a charm. I still have a few floppy disk that I wanted to transfer a bunch of old files to a thumb drive so that I could have it for future reference. This device connects without any issues. It automatically connects and I do recommend having it on a solid surface and flat to ensure it does not have any issues of disconnecting. It is like a simple floppy disk drive where you pop the disk in or press to eject. It reads and transfer the files pretty quick considering it is a pretty small file. There was no corruption to the files nor damage to the disk. It does not get hot nor does it have any disconnect issue. The device is not too big and the cable is not too long so it is more for laptop in my option. It is also just a simple 2.0 usb. This is a great device to get old files out of the floppy disks as well as giving you a chance to keep files on floppy disk if needed.

It works
I got this and it worked but it took three different computers before I got it to work. It seems the drive doesn't appear with all the other drives until you go to My PC and click on view and it will show and you have to click on it to get it to show on the list of drives on your computer. You have to actually click on the floppy drive to get it to load the disc after you insert it. I had about a hundred of the little buggers and the clicking over and over was annoying. Many of the files can't be opened with the OS but there were a few priceless photos recovered I think are pretty good. It is one of those things to love and hate at the same time. I have an SSD drive and it loads the files rather quickly but getting them from the floppy disc seems to take a while, even if the files are small photo files. I may complain about the time spent but in the end I felt it was well worth the effort after finding some old photos which I forgot I had.
