Prismacolor 962 Premier Colorless Blender Pencils, 2-Count

I purchased these Colorless Blender Pencils to go with a set of Prismacolor's Scholar Colored Pencils as a separate purchase. I have played with them with the Scholar Colored Pencils, and some other pencils that I own, including a set of Oil-Based pencils. In all cases, I was pleased with the way that the Colorless Blenders blended the colors with one exception. In every type pencil I had at hand, the yellow was obscured by the green or orange bordering it. That may, however, be a function of my own lack of familiarity with the blenders. I have used tortillions more for blending color in the past. This two pencil set comes unsharpened, but sharpened in a standard pencil sharpener that I had on hand - a manual one, at that. The pencils come packaged in a blister pack as shown in the listing, and were sent in a larger box with some other items. PROS: Exactly as advertised 2 in the set arrived on time no breakage blend colors well work for a variety of pencils Belatedly, I realized that there was a video on the listing that shows you how to use these. I strongly advise that you watch it (unlike me - wish I had noticed that earlier!) CONS: None really CONCLUSION: I can easily see myself using these up and wanting more. The price on this listing was comparable to others, but this one is a Prime listing, meaning I got it quickly and feel very secure about purchasing through Prime. These pencils blend the color of the pencil smoothly and blends the strokes. Blending also keeps the color from fading and makes it easy to blend shading of colors. I recommend them to anyone who enjoys using soft core colored pencils, such as Premier Prismacolor pencils,

I have very limited experience with colored pencils, but I do have a set of Prismacolor pencils that I use for highlights and shading over Copic markers. Someone suggested I might want to try a blender pencil, and after one afternoon, I’m already in love with these! Smooths out lines and blends my shading together, and works really well over the Copic base. Highly recommend!

Have not had the chance to us this set, but take it slow and don’t get in a hurry! And you should not have a problem with this set!!🌟

I am an avid colorist. I love coloring in various coloring books, from pretty flowers to swear words. Coloring relaxes me like nothing else seems to. I ordered these blender pencils to use with my Prsimacolor Premier set. The pencils do not come sharpened, which is good, so you can keep one unsharpened until you need to use it. This prevents the tip from breaking off a pencil you aren't even using yet. I enjoy having the blender pencils, but I also like blending the colors without it. The blender is helpful is smoothing the transition of the colors and makes it look a bit more natural. I have also used these pencils with some of my lesser expensive pencils to see if it works equally as well with them. I used it with my Marco Raffine's and noticed it didn't do quite as good of a job blending the colors, but it still made a small difference. I will most likely stick to using these with my Prismas, but it's good to know I can also use them with other pencils, even if it's not to the same level of blending. The price is a bit high for just two pencils, but they last longer than the colored pencils, since they aren't used as much, so the value is okay, but not great. I will continue to use these unless I find something I like better that is a little bit cheaper. Overall, I recommend the blender pencils for Prismacolor pencils, and tentatively recommend them for other brand, with the caveat they may not blend quite as well with the other brands.

Blends wonderfully. Use a sharpener to keep a sharp point for careful blending.

Best blender pencil ever for any soft core pencils!

I don't need to use these with Prismacolor pencils too often because Prismacolor pencils already smoosh into paper and blend themselves practically, but I enjoy do having these on hand because I like to use a blender with some more budget brand colored pencils I still use often. They work wonderfully.

They work well not only with Prismacolor pencils but also with Derwent Drawing colored pencils and probably with any wax based colored pencils

Crayons achetés sur la boutique Supermart USA et reçu sous 15 jours (expédié depuis le Michigan, USA). Il remplit bien sa fonction de Blender ou crayon mélangeur. Il s'applique au dessus des couleurs existantes pour les mélanger ou les dégrader entre elles. J'apprécie aussi l'utiliser pour estomper des traits de crayons trop marqués. Le crayon Blender permet vraiment d'enjoliver un dessin et lisser les traits de crayon notamment quand le papier est poreux et laisser apparaître quelques points blancs ou le crayons de couleurs n'a pas marquer. Le crayon est très facile à utiliser. Je joins quelques photos afin de vois la différence avant/après. J'en suis très satisfaite et je le recommande.
