The harness is adjusted as small as it goes and the binocculars hang below my belly. Is there a way to have them higher on my body. I am 5' 2".

Hi Joanne I am a short hobbit like person as well (i live in NZ). A suggestion might be to remove the sliding nylon Nikon things ( I have my turned backwards so the white letters will not distract any wildlife) then fold the straps over... tack them together with adhesive velco strip or sewing stitch? That way you can shorten the strap without cutting things. Being short is good when it come to low branches or hiding, but I hear you about the straps you need them higher to speed the bins to the eye and reduce the movement in that motion. I have also used Black electric tape on the clips for added security....and a s I write that You could use black take the hold the straps together as another option. cheers and all the best Rob I do have the Swarovski optix version for another set of binos it is expensive but does work every this Swarovski is dear.

How do the little leather loops go through the slots on the binoculars? I've attempted to fold and twist but they don't fit. (Prostaff 7)

I didn't use the harness but used the regular strap that came with binocs. Pull the plastic clip up over the end of the strap and then insert the pointed tip under the opening and thru next to eye pieces. Then fold end of strap over itself and push the plastic clip over that. take your and eyeball it well.It will show you if it is right. Good Luck..
