Epakitin

My 13 yo cat have a renal failure already few years. And Epakitin helps a lot. I give this everyday. And 300g container very enough for long time. And cat feels way better. Thanks to my vet advise.

My 16 y/o childhood dog’s health suddenly and very rapidly declined from September to November. She went from jumping 10 inches off the ground for food, to barely being able to stand. I was almost ready to say goodbye but decided to take her to the vet to see what our options were. She had ridiculously high kidney BUN levels and was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney failure. The vet recommended this, omega 3 oil, and prescription Hills Science Diet. 2 months later, she is still wobbly, but it looks like the life has returned to her eyes and body. She has enough energy to wag her tail and perk her ears, walk in the yard, and even go down the steps. It’s very easy to add to her food, she hasn’t had any aversions to it at all. I still need to get her bloodwork done to see if the values are lower, but by the amount of energy that has returned, I can assume they are.

Great price for a product to keep my kitty healthy

Our ckd cat refuses to eat low phosphorus foods so this product helps him continue to eat his fave. Using this with a couple of other products has brought him back from the brink. He’s regained appetite and weight. We are so thankful. Highly recommend.

The bottle is deeper than the product and as you use it the stem of the plastic scoop is too short for the contents. The company should add more length to the dispenser .. not sure why they use such a large container for so little product and such a short "scoop" making it difficult to product out of the container. A short and more rounded container would be more appropriate. Perhaps they use the larger bottle to try & justify the price & look like more product is there. It is a good product for the cat that has Kidney issues. I recommend it regardless of this inconvenience.

This is powder form with a scooper- easy to mix in food. My picky cat doesn’t notice it at all and easily eats it when mixed in. Haven’t been using long enough to report its effects but it came highly recommended by 2 veterinarians.

Our 15.5 year old IG was in stage 4 with phosphorous levels high. After 1 month phos. levels were close to normal.

I am employed as a medical, clinically licensed microbiologist in addition to being a huge cat person. My Maine Coon cat, Snoopy, was recently diagnosed w/ pancreatitis & kidney decline. He had significant weight loss (primarily due to pancreatitis) & his hair started to become rough to the touch, patchy looking (probably due to the kidney decline). With the pancreatitis, his stools took on the typical "pancake diarrhea" appearance & foul smell. Well, within 2 days, I saw dramatic improvement w/ the pancreatitis as Snoopy had absolutely NO more diarrhea. AND then he stopped hiding, but rather started to "hang out" with me again so I could tell he was feeling better again. And within 2 weeks, his hair started taking on a very shiny, soft feel and appearance AND he's already gained much of his weight back. This cat should have died, but he's now looking & feeling awesome! And I fully credit Snoopy's complete, miraculous turn around to us using these 2 nutritional supplement products i.e. "FloraZyme LP" and "Epakitin". BTW, I ordered the 180 gram bottle in Feb. 2016 and received expiration dating of 9-2017. In mid-April 2016, I ordered the 300 gram bottle (that was then shipped from Amazon's warehouse) and received expiration dating of 05-2016!! YUP!!! 2.5 weeks of good dating!!! Lesson learned, DO NOT EVEN TRY & ORDER THE 300 gram bottle!!! ONLY ORDER THE 180 GRAM BOTTLE SIZE SO YOU CAN GET GOOD EXPIRATION DATING!
