What replacement size batteries can I buy or this light?

If you should have a reason to replace the 18650 1200mAh lithium ion battery and have not opened the case to check it please be advised that the lights I bought in 2022 have a flat top rather than a button top battery. While the case length is the same the button top will not fit in the holder because of the button's added length.

ANyone have theirs longer than a year?

Yes. I have one mounted on a wall 15-30 feet from my neighbor's house that only gets 4-5 hours of direct sun. I put the light up, because my neighbor had no side-porch light and I wanted them to be safe, especially during cold, icy weather. It has been up nearly two years with no issues. It is mounted below a soffit about 10 ft off the ground.

What is the lifespan of these units?

I have about 20 of these lights, some as old as Jan 2020. Most are the old style but I have some of the new style as well. The light changed design styles sometime in 2020. None have gone out on me yet. They’re low maintenance but I do need to get out there and wipe the solar panels off - I haven’t done that yet.

Some reviews have pictures that look like they're mounted under a deck/porch cover. Does this work even if it's not in direct sunlight?

I have them set on the villa wall, so I get about 2-3 hours of direct light max on it. Rest of the time it's charging via indirect light. I haven't had issues with them charging up. Even with rain. I have few set as always on when no sun (lesser bright) and few set as light on motion (brighter) The other option low light on and brightness increase on motion is also okay, those finish charge 2 hours before sun light on morning. Overall extremely impressed.
