Frank's Original Universal Seit 1956 Dog Brush

I love this brush! It is so easy to use with its curved shape. The metal ends are also curved, so as not to poke your pet. I thought when I looked at this brush that it looked cheap, it might not look as pretty as some others. However, I bought some of those pretty expensive brushes and they did not work near as well as this brush! It is priced great, works wonderful and my Pomeranian's look like show dogs when I am done. It also saved me 45 minutes!! I can brush them in 15 minutes, instead of an hour with this brush!!!!

I tried several different brushes when I got my lil love 2 years ago...didin't really care of any of them and most had a difficult time getting out knots (I have a mini schnauzer). My mother kept urging me to find a brush like she used at her shop (she was in grooming for 10 years)...after searching on Amazon we thought this one looked as close to it as any and bought it. LOVE this brush; it gets out the tangles pretty easy and helps reduce the curl in my pups hair. I highly recommend this brush.

Incredibly awesome for the price... But it doesn't perform miracles, please keep your pups mat-free people!!! :-D or it'll hurt them when you brush them. this brush is the best I've tried, and was recommended to me by an excellent talented groomer, it's great for getting through to the skin, so the mats can't form on the skin level (line brushing) :-)

This works better than any slicker brush I have used. I think it's, "AlI in the design" (it's constructed as one piece). I have always had a problem with the cheaper ones, the bristle pad would always come apart. I think, we are pretty hard on our brushes and we have Standard Poodles so they get a lot of use. This brush was recommended by another "Poodle Person" and I am so glad it was. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Hope this helps.

Not too sure if I like this brush but my shih-Tzu is not a fan. The good thing about the brush is that it combs out shedding fur and the bristles are sharp. The downfall: the brush pulls and tugs on the hair and that is when my shih-Tzu starts to get irritated. This is my first slicker brush so maybe I am not using it correctly. When I brush her through, I do not get the brush close to her skin since the bristles are sharp. I only find it useful for when I come across matted areas but even then it is pulling her skin. So far my pin brush does the job fine.

I was scouring the web to find good grooming tools for my 14 pound miniature poodle. Someone on a forum recommended this brush, so I thought I'd give it a try. I can't believe that it is such a good brush for being so cheap. I almost went with the medium size but I am so glad I went with the small. It is bigger than I thought it would be and is the perfect size for my dog. Great brush at a great price!

I can see why this brush gets such high ratings! It works like a dream. I bought this brush to replace an older brush of a similar style and size that was not working well on my dog. The size small is plenty big for my miniature poodle; it works wonderfully on him. From now on I have no reason to even try another brush on my dog.

Economical and durable. One brushes the coat out, away from the dog's skin, not along it. This brush takes out all the flora, moss, and forest litter which clings so bewitchingly to their coats. And before the coat reaches the 'dreadlocks' stage, the brush effectively reduces most of the tangles.
