Worked well
It’s easy to set your own code and easy to use. It worked well. If someone really wanted to get into your bag I’m sure they could break this with a tool, however to keep zips together when travelling it worked well and I’m sure it’s a good deterrent.

Nice size
Bought a second one as this one was the perfect size for my holiday baggage. I bould the TSA keys for back up.

Very cheap feel
I decided not to use this. I originally went for this product because Samsonite is a recognisable brand to me and I have used their products a lot. This however felt very flimsy and as if it could be very easily broken. The main reason I use a travel lock is to ensure my luggage doesn't unzip open while in transit and I feel like I wouldn't have confidence in this lock to do that. Cheaper/unbranded TSA locks have proven much better value and higher build quality even for many international trips yearly.

Press down quite hard while setting your combination!
To set a new combination, after you turn the metally lever 90 degrees, you have to press down quite hard while you set the new combination. I didn't get that from the instructions but one of the comments here gave this tip in the title. I mention it again to emphasise this because I have tried umpteen times to set it, not realising that just turning the lever alone won't do the trick. Otherwise the lock looks fine but plasticky and a bit flimsy. Let's see if it will hold out for a few holidays...

A one lock solution
We purchased these for a trip to Canada where they require TSA locks. The instructions aren’t brilliant but it’s simple enough to reset the lock and choose one’s own code combination. They work smoothly and take the hassle out of keeping keys safe. Would definitely recommend and would buy more of these should the need arise!

Really good, quality item
Easy to use, strong deterent for the casual thief who want to get inside my travel bag. It wont stop a criminal who'll simply slash the bag open or rip the zip apart, but as I said it keeps my stuff reasonably safe from the casual opportunist thief looking to slip their hands inside the zipped compartment whilst my back is turned! Easily goes through the cross-over holes on the double zip of my North Face duffel bag.
