Ultra light fits great on helmet prefect illumination
Open box product is great. I been using surefire lights since 04 ish so I knew the product will be great. I didn’t rate ir or battery life yet haven’t really used it a lot or at night with night vision I’m sure it is great from the reliable company sure fire is

Sub-standard product construction.
The nut that is seated beneath the mount locking tab is surrounded by plastic that is too soft to retain the edges of the nut. Loosening the nut's bolt, during mounting adjustment, caused the plastic to fail. Now the nut is seized to the bolt and rotates freely. The bolt can, now, neither be loosed or tightened from it's current position. Otherwise, the unit seems to be solid.

Great light, what is pictured is not what you get
The light is amazing, good construction, great options for positioning, red/white/ir, and brightness settings. Only issue I have is that the ops core mount that is in the picture is not what you get. You get a normal helmet mount that clips onto the side of the helmet hugging the bottom. I would have still ordered the light without the ops core mount, but I would like to know what it's actually coming with so I can order the mount separately.

Mounted this on a bump helmet ARC rail. Puts light right where you're looking.

This is not what is pictured. The picture shows the ops core mount and that's what I thought I was buying. Light is useless to me.
