Handy for many things
Oddly enough, I bought this to fabricate my own, shallow trays for holding coffee parchment to dry in my dehydrator. You can imagine how beans roll around on the normal trays, so I snip the corners and fold up the side to form a wire mesh tray about 3/4 inch deep. Works perfectly amd the holes are small enough so nothing falls out. I have bought these sheets for many other uses where I need to fabricate something or for screening small doors where a finer mesh is needed. They are well made and handy.

Exactly what I needed!
This was exactly what I needed for sifting out cocoons from my compost worm breeder bins. The size is perfect for catching cocoons that go through 1/8โ screens. Iโve been using a 1/20โ hole size screen made for mining that fit on a 5 gallon bucket but it takes forever when I have 2 large bins that I screen per week. I use 1/4โ & 1/8โ hardware cloth to catch the worms, leftover bedding and larger cocoons but havenโt found a mesh thatโs large enough with the ideal hole size for my 20โx14โ frames in the until now. The price seems a bit high compared to hardware cloth but due to how difficult it is to find this size itโs not bad, and there are 2 large pieces so I can make separate boxes for each worm species so thereโs no need to wash them when I switch between them.It was very easy to apply to the frame, especially since it was shipped flat, that made things so much easier and the worms love eating the cardboard box so thereโs little waste! Because it was shipped flat the mesh stayed on grain for the most part when stapling it in place, unrolling mesh causes things to move out of alignment and it will never become totally flat without special machinery. The frame was made some time ago so all I needed to do was cut it 1โ larger than the frame, folded using pliers and a metal straight edge and staple it down. There was a small amount of fraying but not as bad as another screen I tried (it just barely fit so the frayed edges made it too small) and the folded edge will keep it contained so there wonโt be any strain on the cut edge. I think this will last for many years of hard usage. So far my other screens have been in use over 3 years with little wear, I expect this wonโt need to be replaced until well after the others made with hardware cloth as this appears to be made of better wire. The wire itself is smooth so when I did find a baby worm stuck in the mesh a gentle flick with a soft bristle brush was all that was needed to knock it off without harming it.I plan to keep the scrap to use as a guard on an outside vent that has a flimsy screen with larger holes. It will definitely hold up better than the old one and keep out larger insects such as wasps looking for a place to make a nest.I highly recommend this mesh for others looking to screen worm cocoons, fine compost or other types of fine sifting. The key is to have the material at 40-50% moisture so it can go through easily without drying to the point it harms the worms, cocoons or microbial life. Thanks for a great product! I may buy more of these if I decide to sell my sifters, it all depends upon demand. Iโll definitely be telling people in a worm forum Iโm on about this product as I doubt they will be able to find anything like this for less.

Check the measurements!
Exactly what I asked for, BUT...Just be aware that the picture slightly misled me. The mesh is a bit tighter weave than the picture had me belive it was. It's probably the background or the model has small hands, maybe. But I should've got the larger weave. This will do, so I won't send it back. It's not that big of a deal for my application, but pay attention to the actual measurements provided if that's important to you.Other than that, the price is a super good deal. And it's really sturdy material. A+ product! Thank you!!

Stiff mesh
I received this in a plastic envelope within a box, I will give kudos to the seller and Amazon for making sure this got to me in one piece, totally unbent. Just watch those edges when handling.I am using this mesh for creating my own VoC air filter with 4X8 sized activated charcoal, and it works very well for that purpose. The mesh is relatively stiff but still cuts pretty easily.
