Atomberg is the best fan in BLDC category. I am using this fan since last 2 years, and it’s working awesome. It’s saves my electricity bills. I can maintain speed according to weather. Airflow is very good. Looks very classy. Overall nice experience.

Great product, have no concerns since years of buying it. Does its business just fine. Only concern for the smart+ variant is this does not support Smartlife/Tuya app. They force you to use their own app. I have rest of my automation setup in smartlife and my newer fans don’t comply now and require special handling. I am probably small minority of users who complain about full automation, but I am probably not their target audience. Otherwise the hardware itself is great.

Update March 2021: Its been approx. 6 months, I have been using this iOT Fan and it works really nice specially with alexa. I was able to connect it to Alexa Echo Dot without any trouble on day one of installation using Atomberg official App, recently I have discovered that Tuya Smart life app can also be used instead of official Atomberg app (which has more features) but maybe because logic board is built by Tuya.. Fan can be added to Tuya Android/iOS App easily. I have Tuya Smart skill enabled on my Alexa profile so all the devices I have 4 wifi tube lights (Wipro), 4 LED wifi bulbs (Wipro/Halonix), 3 Power Socket 16 Amps (Wipro) and 3 Atomberg Fans working without any trouble. 1st Impression, Sep 2020: I have no complains, so far so good. Recommended if you are looking to use remote controller + Alexa as I do have it setup to work with Fan, it works! LED lights could be better than just pale blue dots only used as indicator when changing fan speed. 12w - 24w / dimmable LED Bulb fitted into fan will make this fan even more amazing offering, there is havels or halonix has something similar and it looks really nice.

Very good quality product n I like the less power consumption feature which compelled me to purchase. However while installing, blade mounting screws were fitted very tight in factory during assembly and there was big design mistake I found i.e. Blade mounting screw's holes depth was very less not per screw's length and because of that I have to add two 1 mm thickness of washers to ensure proper & tight fitting. Company need to be ensured proper quality product to be delivered, I am very disappointed with this mistake in such a expensive product. Also there is no Free installation from company personal is also surprising.

I purchased the Atomberg fan with high hopes of integrating it seamlessly with Alexa and controlling it via the mobile app. Unfortunately, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Despite following all setup instructions, the fan fails to connect with Alexa, rendering its smart features useless. The mobile app is equally problematic, often failing to recognize the device or execute commands properly. When I reached out to Atomberg Technologies for support, the process was cumbersome and unhelpful. They requested serial numbers and invoices before even considering a replacement part, which is understandable, but their lack of technician availability meant they suggested sending a new fan instead. This approach seemed like a band-aid solution rather than addressing the root cause of the issue. Furthermore, with multiple fans installed, retrieving serial numbers is impractical without professional assistance. Despite my requests for a technician to evaluate the problem on-site, I was met with repeated delays and no clear resolution timeline. Overall, the product's failure to deliver on its advertised smart capabilities, combined with inadequate customer support, has left me extremely dissatisfied. I expected a more reliable product and responsive service from Atomberg. I will be escalating this issue if it remains unresolved and caution others considering this purchase.

Here is my story with this fan - Despite reading multiple negative reviews and poor feedback regarding the after sale service, i wanted to give a benefit of doubt and give it a try so i bought this smart IOT renesa fan. My initial impressions were great as they fan looked real cute and stylish matches very well with my modren interior. I got it installed immediately after the delivery by a local technician and i didn't use the supplied fan rod as i already have one fixed into the POP flase ceiling. The installation process was simple, i bypassed the regularator as suggested and did the installation like any other fan. Everything was great and the fan was on without any issues. However i didn't feel that the fan speed was good enough until I turned on the boost mode, in the boost mode as well the speed was just ok and not exceptionally good. Interesting thing here is that from speed 1 to 5 change in speed is very subtle and you won't feel the real difference, it's only when you click on the boost mode button you see the fan spitting some real air. The remote worked great only when i pointed it at the fan or else it doesn't, so this remote works from 20 feet distance is false and you have to point the remote absolutely towards the fan as it is an IR remote. The alexa connectivity was like a breeze and i didn't face any difficulty, i installed atomberg home app and it automatically detected the fan and configured the alexa quickly. The voice commands worked well there were no issues what's so ever. So on the very first day i was some what satisfied with the fan as the design was great and all functions worked beautifully except that the speed was not really upto my satisfaction even in the boost mode. To my surprise from the third day onwards the fan started making some weird noise which i am not able to ignore , may be some parts in the fan became loose and started shaking note sure. This left with me with a lot of disappointment and i immediately raised a return request and i feel the product quality is not up to mark as mentioned by other folks as well. I don't want to take risk hence with the support of Amazon customer care i raised a return request. Overall i want to conclude by saying that I have mixed opinion on this fan as it is good in many aspects but also seems to have quite a good number of quality issues, lack of speed, basic IR remote, and making noise that too just in a couple of days are my major concerns. Are all the bldc fans same in terms of speed and air flow? Not sure but i had high hopes and the fan did not live upto. May be i will be stuck with a conventional fan for a while until someone really disrupts the market by making some high quality product with no compromise on speed and features.

Note: I'm Using SmartLife App (Don't Use Gorilla App). Pros: - Very well built and stylish looking, attention to detail in every aspect. Very light, weighs only 2.7 kgs. - Energy efficient - Normal fan is 75 watts and 5 star fan is 50 watts, but this fan is only 28 watts at highest speed. - No need to use regulator, everything is controlled by remote. - WiFi enabled - Works with Alexa and Google assistant - Blades are aluminium. - Fan can be controlled by: electrical switch, remote, app, and Alexa. (fan speed also can be controlled by electrical switch). - You have the option of keeping the LEDs in the center permanently ON as nightlight (no. of LEDs indicate speed of fan). - Air delivery is similar to AC fan. - Sleep and Timer Mode Setting on remote. - Three times more inverter backup. - No heating even after prolonged operation. - Rs. 1500 savings per year on electricity bill (as per company). Cons: - Air delivery towards the sides is less, mostly in the center, but not bad. - Remote too small. IR not very responsive. No separate buttons for each speed. - Not dust resistant like the company says. - Fan works on 24 volts and not 12 volts, so cannot be connected directly to solar. Q: Does it make lesser sound than my previous fan? A: No. At speed 5, this fan makes 55 decibels. My previous fan made around 52 decibels. I do not know if this one is faulty, but I am using the fan for the last 12 hours and the sound is consistent. Q: Did I face any difficulty connecting the fan to the app, the fan to Alexa? A: No. The process was smooth and a no-brainer. Q: How smooth is the remote operation? A: Whether it is remote or operating using the app, there is a slight delay in execution, which is not the case when I use my LG AC. So I believe this is something that can be improved. Also, this much delay is okay. Hopefully I will not die if my fan starts a second later. Q: Could there be improvements in the app? A: Yes. For example: The makers of the app focusses more on the selling features, for example: it shows me how much money I have saved. In the info section, they state that they made. The assumption might not hold true. The user should get an option to see the KWH saved, instead of the money saved. Similarly, the user should be able to see how many KWH is consumed instead of the units. The app works. Q: Does it save energy? A: I guess it does. I can not say this for sure because I am using this for the last 12 hours only. Other points: a. The fan does not look premium. I wish the company makes better-looking fan. b. Really good installation manual.

Unit stopped working, very unhappy with the unit purchased.
