Would this pump be safe to use with a 16x8x42" 3000 gallon pool? I would be using the B adapters so it can fit on the pool. 1.25" to 1.5"

It should work great for your pool ... I am using this filter for an Intex easy set pool that is 15 feet in diameter and 48 inches deep with a water capacity of 3,736 gallons. This pump works great -- I run it 12 hours a day and the water is crystal clear.
