GREAT Design
I recently purchased these ice cream storage containers, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations in every way! First and foremost, let's talk about their design – the long, slim shape is an absolute game-changer when it comes to freezer storage. It's like they were custom-made to fit perfectly in my freezer door, maximizing space efficiency like never before. The slender design not only saves space but also makes organizing my freezer a breeze. No more bulky containers taking up precious room; these containers neatly line up, allowing me to see all my delicious ice cream flavors at a glance. Plus, their slim profile means I can stack them easily, utilizing every inch of freezer space without any hassle. But it's not just about the shape – these containers are also incredibly durable and practical. They're made of high-quality materials that keep my ice cream perfectly frozen and free from freezer burn. The tight-sealing lids ensure that no air gets in, preserving the freshness and flavor of my favorite treats for longer periods. Overall, I can't recommend these ice cream storage containers enough. Their long, slim shape truly revolutionizes freezer storage, making it convenient, efficient, and oh-so-satisfying. If you're serious about your ice cream game, do yourself a favor and invest in these fantastic containers – you won't regret it!

Must have for homemade ice cream connoisseurs
Simply put, these are great. Most home ice cream makers today make 1.5 quarts, which fits perfectly in these. Long and slender, you truly can get long scoops. They are steadily made, double wall, with an interior for the ice cream that fits snugly inside an outer exterior shell. I wouldn't go as far as calling them insulated because there's only an air gap between an inner and outer parts, but it is double walled. The bottom of the unit has a silicone strip all the way around the outside perimeter that keeps it from sliding around on the countertop. You still have to hold it when you're scooping but this is not going to slide around and be knocked off accidentally. The shape fits quite well in your freezer and will fit in the freezer door compartments of most freezers. I can't think of anything negative to say about these. They work great, are sturdily made, and fit well in the freezer. If I were you I'd buy two. I did!

These Are Amazing!
I cannot imagine loving these more than I do! They are pretty, made so well, and the functionality alone would be a reason to buy them. Someone said the lid doesn't seal, and technically they may be right, but the lid is much better than a "seal" because it presses down for an airtight seal that also makes it easy to get off. These are so well made that I expect to use them for many years. Their shape is just perfect for the freezer door on my refrigerator; however, they can be used in the refrigerator, too. The fact that they are stackable makes them such a spacesaver when used in the refrigerator. Their unique design makes my food safe from freezer burn. I used to sell Tupperware, and I can assure you that, in my opinion, these are better quality. I wouldn't mind having enough of these to use in the pantry to store snacks. Then, there is the fact that they are safe in the freezer, microwave, or dishwasher. This is just a perfect addition to my kitchen!

Smaller than you think
They’re very nice, sturdy, and make scooping homemade ice cream easier than the plastic container I had it in. I was a little surprised and disappointed by how small they actually are, it didn’t register what the dimensions were in terms of how much they can hold. I had to split one flavor of ice cream between two containers, which means the second flavor I made had to go in the old container. Not a big deal, just inconvenient.

Quality ice cream container
High quality product, super easy to clean, and the perfect size and shape. I really like that the material never bows or becomes too stiff or brittle in the freezer. You can always get the bendy lid off easily, and it always goes right back on and fits perfectly so it's a well-engineered design. This is also much easier to use than the cylindrical ice cream bins. This shape makes scooping easy, and enables you to get a nice looking scoop in one or two motions, instead of having to "dig" into a deep bin and get ice cream all over your hand, which is just messy. This shape is much better. I use the Cuisinart ICE 100 compressor, and this container perfectly houses one batch.

Good quality and perfect for the ice cream maker I have
I have the Cuisinart ice cream maker which makes 1.5 quart so this is a perfect size for a single creation. It consists of 3 parts as shown in the seller pics. While the dimensions are stated to be 11x4x4 in, these are actually the external dimensions. The tray insert where the ice cream will be stored is slightly smaller to account for the air gap. It is closer to 10x3x3 which is actually what holds the 1.5quart vol. If need be, one could remove the outside tray for space in the freezer. However, the lid won't work for the outer container as it is designed to fit the smaller tray where the ice cream is placed. But qmgiven the quality, one could still use the various parts in general for other food storage. The item came well packaged. So it was strange to see some dirt on the lid. But a good wash got it out. I have been handwashing it..didnt see a dishwasher-safe logo on it though.

Works TOO WELL....
I love making homemade ice cream. I’ve tried several containers along the way from Rubbermaid to store brands and this is THE ONE. I wanted to try a new recipe that required only mixing the ingredients together and freezing. If your interested in recipe it is the August/September issue of Cooks Country available through Amazon magazine services. The recipe claimed that it would be scoop-able but we know that ice forming on top makes a “crust” that’s tough to break. The first time I tried the recipe it formed the crust as described using a Rubbermaid container but it was scoop worthy past that. I ordered these based on reviews and it’s ability to fit in freezer door. It does and I wouldn’t simply because I’m in and out of my freezer....no ice maker. Here’s the thing that’s important: the container does it’s job so well it may take longer for your ice cream to freeze! My first batch took overnight to freeze....and I used my chest freezer! Here’s the trick to a faster freeze: take the inner container out and freeze your ice cream and then pop it back in to the outer container. If you are using above ice cream recipe, you can enjoy it around lunch if you made it that morning! I have also tried this with ripening custard based ice cream- by far my favorite- using both traditional hand cranked and Kitchen-aid ice cream bowl attachment and neither one had ice crystals and kept well in my chest freezer. As an experiment I left about two cups in freezer to see how long before crystals and off flavor would occur and after almost three weeks the temptation was too great....had to have some homemade banana. It passed the test...ice cream would NEVER last that long under normal conditions here! Both sets have been through dishwasher but I hand wash mine. Stacks very well and no weird smell. It’s been dropped several times...aggressive scooping by grandchild and came out unscathed! Very good product with accurate description.
