Blonde Assure Purple Shampoo 8.5 oz

Definitely worth the money. Product lightened very well on the first wash. I left it in for 5 minutes. I would say 2 washes with this stuff and the brace will disappear. Very effective. The color came out blonde like when I first had it done at the solan.

Okay, so I lighten my hair but after awhile it can start to turn dull or brassy. Since purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel it can have a neutralizing effect and tone down some of the brassiness. I like the fact this shampoo is sulfate-free too so it doesn't contribute to more hair fading. It is also protein-infused as coloring or bleaching hair can have an affect on keratin in hair. It is a dark purple so be careful of use around light-colored or white washclothes or towels. The purple color will rinse out of your hair, though. This is more of a supplemental shampoo to be used occasionally with a regular shampoo--like maybe once or twice a week at the most. I like that it kind of neutralized my graying roots too and blended them in more with my blonde hair. This shampoo can be use on silvery graying hair too as it helps to take out some of the yellowish tinge in gray hair. It is kind of pricey but using it only once a week makes it last longer. Oh, I was surprised to find this shampoo at Target too.

I’ve been using Nexxus Blonde Assure Purple Shampoo for a year or so now and overall I think it’s a good product for the price. It has a pleasant scent, although I wish it smelled exactly like the matching conditioner. The shampoo does what it’s supposed to do and helps reduce the brassiness in my highlighted and lowlighted hair. One thing I noticed is that it takes quite a bit of product and effort to create a good lather compared to other shampoos. My hair tends to feel a little dry after using it, so I definitely recommend following up with a generous amount of conditioner. Since I don’t use purple shampoo with every wash, a bottle lasts me quite a while. Overall, it works well, keeps my color looking fresh, and offers good value for the money. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)

Works good on bleached hair, feels more nourishing then other purple based products I’ve tried. I would order this again.

Good buy over all if you are wanting soft hair, although it didn’t quite make the blonde pop like I was hoping it would. So to be honest, I am giving it three stars for softness, but I was hoping for do much more!!!

Blonde hair requires the use of purple shampoo a couple times per week to avoid looking brassy & Nexus Blonde Assure protects & keeps my blonde hair looking healthy and free of any unwanted brassy or orange tones. I'm picky about my hair products and I refuse to buy anything that isn't sulfate free and Nexus offers a quality product and it's at a very competitive price. The bottle isn't very big but I don't use it daily so I think that it will last enough to justify the $20 price tag. The scent is great and I this shampoo definitely leaves my hair looking very shiny and clean. Nexxus just out performs others. Some purple shampoos have left my hair very dry & brittle but this one leaves my hair feeling very soft. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Growing out my gray with lengths that were still auburn. I bleached and then started using a very expensive blue shampoo that I was given. This Nexxus purple shampoo blows the other one out of the water! Hair feels soft and healthy after using Nexxus, not dry and lifeless after using others. After the first shampoo, the brassiness and yellow were diminished significantly. My hair is actually turning platinum. Will upload pic later. Great stuff. Highly recommend.

I grabbed this shampoo to maintain the cool shade of my blonde and super fine hair—love how it cleans out buildup after pre-washing with regular shampoo to remove oils, hairspray, and dry shampoo. I leave it on for a few minutes in the shower, and it scrubs away residue without drying my strands, thanks to the gentle formula. Downside: Doesn’t give my hair a super strong cool tone, though maybe I need to use it more often for that effect. Used it every 2 weeks

Happily surprised at the richness of this shampo. Bought if to cultivate a few white strands of grey hair. The results is great and my hair feels and looks great. Will order again. Just ordered the conditioner.

A good purple shampoo, but not a fan of the smell that’s why only 4 stars.
