Cool kit
This was my first Zoid kit and so happy with it. Sure, it does have a few flaws but I still love it. Comes with a lot of pieces and a good number of waterside decals. Also, you don't really have to paint it. However, it helps make him look a LOT better. I took my time with this build and never came across any problems. It's a puzzle and a good build so have fun with it. :) Flaws> yeah a few but to me, not that big a deal. Head does not look up / legs can pop out when posing but easy to pop back in. Also had issues with the cannon that folds out on the underside. Does not lock in and does like to slowly open on it' own. Not caring for it at all IMO I just glued it shut. All in all, I LOVE this kit and was a joy to build over a period of time. It's a good kit for model build who has built a good few kits and would like something different than Gundams and whatnot. The amount of detail is just AMAZING along with the manual with REALLY nice linework. Yes it's all in Japanese and would be nice to be able to read the info about it, but this is not needed to be able to build the kit. Recommended :) Pics are a mostly straight build with a few painted parts I did. The silver and gold is custom along with the smaller red details done to bring them out more.

Fragile!
Loved putting together this kit, just mind the thin red plastic. It is more brittle than the black. Lovely little cat will look great in your collection.

Really awesome~
I purchased this one to customize the armor on but I have built one in the past. It's a bit hard to build if you are new to the Zoids HMMs or models in general, but the end result is totally worth it. The legs can pop off easy when posing them but it's not a deal breaker. Once it's posed it is stable, or for me it is anyway. The detail really makes this a cool model. Totes recommend this model and other Zoids HMM models!

Great Lightning Saix, but had it's fair share of pain and headache
The model is great, very detailed, and looks exactly what I imagined lightning saix would be if it ever became a model. It felt as if I was building lightning saix the same as if i was making the real one from it's blue prints. The kit comes with a pilot and core as well as detailed internal parts down to even having what looks like brake pads on the four joints of the legs. The gun works beautifully and rotates without much of a problem and the legs can be moved without too much trouble. The best part is the painting for the pieces made this model very enjoyable.to stare at. The reason I couldn't give this model five stars was because some of the parts such as the round boosters on the bottom come off frequently, although I was able to fix this problem by using plastic cement, they should probably be a tighter fit but doing so would have it's own problems which also showed up in some of the parts. The leg plastic ball joint for the front two legs were a massive pain to put on because of the fact that they wouldn't fit into the socket. Me and my friend tried everything we could to get the part to stick, eventually we hesitantly had to use an xacto knife to trim down some of the rubber to make the rubber leg joint fit. The head, tail, legs, and weapon were straight forward and easy enough to do. All in all the model is fine with the few complaints above, I still don't regret buying this model and I would recommend it to others but truthfully I wouldn't really recommend this one for a beginner without someone helping you or you might get really frustrated, mostly because of that pesky rubber joint and yes it annoyed me enough to the point that I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience . This took roughly about 20 hours to build along with cleaning and decals. If nothing else it's a fun little model to stare at and fun to pose so all worth it in the end.

Looks simply amazing!
I used to collect these zoids when I was 6 years old (wish I could've kept them). So i decided to purchase my first zoid 15 years later and I couldn't be happier with the product! Building it wasn't to hard, except the stubborn teeth, but I managed to finish the model. Im not to sure what everyone is complaining about. Reading the reviews, I saw a bunch of people complain about the legs breaking off. Mine didn't have that issue. In the end it was worth every penny and I am now officially addicted to building these things again. Already ordered the Liger Zero and have officially begun my collection.

Annoying
The good: Does not require paint to look awesome, high poseability. The bad: I ran into several problems with this item. The build is overall simple but there are some parts where you will tear your hair out in frustration. The legs will pop off the body easily.... In fact, barely touching them will result in the whole thing comically falling over. It is basically required for you to buy nail topcoat to strengthen the joints. The good news is that once you get the legs in place the zoid looks magnificent on a display shelf. A shame that one of my all time favorite zoid designs is one of, if not THE worst kotobukiya zoid.

One of my favorite Zoids
Great model, very easy to put together. Priming, painting (not necessary) and assembling only took me about 7 hours, not counting drying time. Looks great and i love the different claws. I would definitely recommend for a first kit, especially since its one of the least expensive.

Perfect detail
Absolutely perfect detail, it was everything I was hoping for and more. No glue. No paint. Yet still very high quality. Perfect for any model builder.

Took a long time to build. Very good quality overall. Water Washer patches not so good at sticking. Very good articulation and posing possibilites. Needed glue on two small spots to hold external pieces in place.

This has been one of the models I wanted the most, it was also my first HMM, it looks exactly as shown, has some really nice features like the claws, however it has some loose parts that are better to glue, like the small part which unites the gun to the body and two small decorative pieces in the chest. The weapons on its chest are kinda weird and doesn't move very naturally and the legs are commonly deatached from the body when trying to pose. Overall is a beautifull model with minor defects.
