Oceanstar 2-Tier Bamboo Shoe Rack, Brown, SR1309

You reviewer people almost scared me off this delightful little 20-buck rack, so tortuous were your descriptions of putting the darn thing together. Split wood! Screws that don't fit! No hardware! Perhaps the manufacturers heard you all and adjusted their tools. Perhaps a couple of those units were just one-offs, slapped together in the wrong factory on an off day. Perhaps some of you were drunk. But all I can say is that the box that arrived at my house yesterday contained four sturdy pieces of bamboo, plus a sweet little packet of brass screws that fit neatly into the pre-drilled holes on both shelves and sides. Also in the bag: A darling little hex wrench with which to drill those screws in. I put it together in five minutes, no lie. It fits our entry way like an interior designer came over and put it there. So, maybe if you're super reckless with the screwing part you might split some wood. I could see that happening, sure. But you'd really have to be going for it. Like deliberately not matching the holes up, or not paying attention to whether the screws are going in at an angle. Or you'd have to be drunk. But I suspect if that were the case you'd be a wreck trying to assemble Ikea or Home Reserve or Pottery Barn or any of the other seemingly hundreds of furniture items I've put together since we upsized a month ago from apartment to house. Because I don't think any furniture item could be easier to assemble than this one. I even drank a beer while I did it, and it went just fine. Then I went and order another one for my closet.

Suits our needs. Easy to assemble. Stable enough.

This is a great attractive, well built and functional shoe rack. Matches our woodwork and does the job. Set it up, use it and get on with the more important things in life. 😁

Generally very good but came with a messed up screw that couldn't be screwed in. No backup screws.

This is easy to assemble and lightweight. Shoes and sneakers fit easily on the 2 shelves and sandals fit underneath the lowest shelf. Each shelf holds 3 pairs of adult shoes. Our closet went from clutter to organization in the time that it took to assemble the racks and place the shoes on them. We are purchasing 2 more racks for another closet.

I love this shoe rack so much! I bought it for my dorm in college, and it is one of the best investments I have ever made! The material of the wood itself is pretty sturdy and holds up well. The instructions were very easy to follow and ended building this in less than 10 minutes. It is also small enough to fit into corners while still having a large amount of storage space to work with!!

This rack is quite easy to assemble, if you have even the most rudimentary skills (especially if you've ever built anything from IKEA). I liked the first one I bought so much I bought a second to stack on top of the first. The dowels that allow for stacking worked perfectly. Very nice solution.

This was very easy to build and comes with all the parts/tools needed to build. You just need to be careful when screwing in the screws that you get them lined up perfectly or you may get some splintering. It's nicely stained and unobtrusive looking! My only regret is that it's not quite wide enough fit exactly four pairs of shoes (me and my roommate are both females and don't have enormously large shoes) and it's fairly close to the ground so you can just barely squeeze a few pairs of flats under the bottom rack. However, it does look very nice and is quite sturdy, so it's a great option for the price!

... easy to assemble - fits smaller spaces. I really liked the product as it suits my needs for order among the shoes we wear in from the backyard. Great!
