I bought these to hang some curtains on an apartment patio with a metal over hang. I put them inside my apartment and hung some heavy bags on them for a couple weeks first to test it out and they are still going strong. Outside I put these on the roof and tied some kevlar rope through the little gap in the hook and then put some really lightweight sheer curtains. It's perfect worked really well. Description says good with heat so hope that holds true. You get a lot in the bag and I only needed 6 to hang for my whole 16 foot patio. They've been out there for a few days now. I'll update if they fall... but for the price it's exactly what I wanted and I tugged on them pretty hard they didn't budge. Can't say how itll go trying to get them off. Update: they are still there lol, even after wind storms and snow storms and rain.

I was skeptical when I first ordered these. We have an outdoor movie screen we wanted to hang on the side of our detached garage, yet had already discovered neither the included sticky hooks that came with the screen nor Command Hooks would stay on the painted cinderblock wall long enough to enjoy a whole movie. Constantly having to adjust the screen because the hooks are falling lose rapidly reduces the enjoyment of having an outdoor movie experience PLUS it meant that setting up the screen was too much of a chore to really even get started. In hunting for a more sturdy/secure sticky hook, I felt like the wider base of these hooks plus the level of “gonna take off the paint if improperly removed” stickiness gave me renewed hope of finally enjoying this Christmas gift two years after receiving it. I’m sharing with you - with great delight - that these hooks were just the thing I needed! Not only are they really wide with a good hooks for holding the screen itself, the adhesion is incredible. I accidentally placed one of the hooks in the “wrong” grommet and my OCD level of balance would not let me ignore it. Since I noticed immediately after placement, I was able to carefully remove and readjust the hook without damaging any paint. When the hook was reapplied to the wall, it was still solidly sticky & quickly “set” to a solid hold a second time. I’m ordering a second pack to balance out the remaining grommets on hooks & to have a few extra on hand. We won’t be ordering any further command strips. These are FAR superior and cheaper!

These things are no joke. Don’t stick them somewhere that you are not sure, you need to be positive before you put this thing on the wall. When I left my last apartment they ripped off part of the sheet rock coming off. In my new apartment I used them to hang a large picture frame, the back of the frame broke but the hook was still on the wall. These are extremely effective for mounting things to the wall, but there will be damage when they come off. So if you are in some type of short term rental I highly suggest just putting a hole in the wall over one of these things. However if you are serious about keeping this thing hanging for a while then I highly suggest.

I purchased these because I read the reviews for how heavy duty these are, and they are HEAVY duty. I wanted to hang my plants without drilling holes into the ceiling and these work amazingly. However, I didn’t like the placing of one of them so when I went to carelessly remove it, already knowing it was most likely going to damage the paint on my ceiling, it most definitely did (I should’ve tried using a bit of goo gone before attempting to rip it off, but you live and you learn you know) Definitely a user error for not placing it correctly the first time, nothing a little plaster and paint won’t fix. That being said, if you want a good hook that you can place somewhere and not worry about for awhile, then these might be up your alley.

I purchased a shower shelf on amazon and the adhesives that came with that shelf did not hold up well. After a few months, the shelf kept falling over and it was such a hassle to keep picking up the shampoo/soap bottles. I really didn't want to drill holes or nails into the wall, so I found these. THEY WORK GREAT. These are incredibly sturdy. I even recently added more products to the shelf and it doesn't budge at all. I only needed to use two from the packet, so I'm excited that I have a bunch left in case I need them in the future. Very happy with these.

I bought these to hang stuff on my deck that has siding all around so I can’t make holes. I was concerned because I knew I had a few heavy things so I figured try it out. Well, these things can hold this 15 lb fan, thats oscillating With no trouble at all. It’s only been up a few hours so I can’t tell longevity yet, but it’s holding like a nail. So far, these things are absolutely as advertised, I just hope I can get them off eventually!!

These were actually more useful than I thought they would be. I have a couple hanging up underneath the range hood in the kitchen to use to hold my pot holders. That was the original application I intended them for when I purchased them. Since they came 12 in a pack I went around the house to see where else I could stick them. I put a couple in my bathroom and actually enjoy hanging my jewelry from them when I get into the shower. We also put one down a little lower on the wall so my daughter can hang her robe from it when she takes a bath. She cannot reach the tall hooks that I and my partner use. I like that the hooks swivel and it makes me wish I had something I needed to hang from the ceiling. I'm sure I'll find something, I have a couple left.

I’m not sure if it was because of the type of material my dorm walls are made of, or the adhesive itself, but the adhesion from the hooks began to come off the wall no matter how long I pushed it against the wall. I fixed the problem by taping around the adhesive with heavy duty tape I had lying around, but I bought these with hopes I wouldn’t have to do that. Another thing I took note of was how flimsy the hooks felt, they are pretty thin and was scared they might bend. Despite this, taping around the adhesive worked pretty well and I was able to hang my 8lb mirror. I felt safe using these on my college dorm walls without much damage, but I don’t think I would ever use these on painted flat walls (which is what I think they were made for). Overall, they ended up doing the job, but I wish they were a bit better quality.
