Don't work
Nothing for this works. It's one the more "pricey" ones I've bought and it won't work. if not plugged into wall it don't work, so its not portable, they don't carve into cups so they won't carve into rocks or nothing hard. Even the hand held non power one doesn't etch. U get what u pay for but this was not cheep for me compared to my 10$ pch one and this 35-40$ one does not work. I've tried and tried.

Good for what I got it for.
Quick simple put together. Seen reviews that it didn't come with directions so I wanted to post. Hopefully I did it right lol. I got these to scratch some little metal plaques for an urn so I'm hoping it works.

I only opened it up I think it's for fingernails the one tip I tested did nit work on glass. Maybe I can use it on other projects.

Engraving for security
I just moved the family home and had a lot of tools and ladders and metal things of my fathers. So I wanted to mark them because so many people that I didn't know we're coming in and out of the property and going in the garages. It gave me a sense of security to know that our name and address was on things

Small enough to do delicate work without having to charge it all the time because it has a cord that you can plug in.
