Very good quality tea.
Well packaged. The bag has a nice fermented aroma. States it's BOPF, and it's very broken OPF. Brews cleanly. Tea has a nice, clear color and a very delicate aroma. The tea is soft, floral, and vegetal, with a hint of sweetness. Good value for the price.

Amazing if...
Read the reviews and look at the pictures. This is not loose leaf tea. It is finely ground tea. It is amazing and delicious and I really enjoy it (even though I have more expensive and fancier teas and yadda, yadda, blah, blah...) I started out unhappy with this, tried to make a cup with a strainer and it was not what I was looking for but I could not deny that even as over-strong as I made it it was smoooth and good. Really good. My best results come from pouring a tea spoon into a small pot and letting it steep for a bit - I then our off the top and use a strainer. It is magnificent. I have also used the kind of tea bags I fill myself and they were OK but I should have weighed the tea. (It is in the instructions, I think 2 grams. I use a little tea submarine in cold water for iced tea and it is now my favorite tea for that. It is so smooth I nearly got high last time I drank it, I drank so much. The fact is, if you are on here looking for new tea to try this is one you may want to pick up. It may not impress the fancy tea fanciers and it is a very good cup of tea. Caveat emptor: you may drink more than you planned.

Not usable
This is not good. It's a "looseleaf" tea, but it really is "dust" as another reviewer stated. So much so, that the tea cannot be strained, even with a fine mesh. It would need a coffee filter. So it makes a murky tea, which after drinking, gave me a very uncomfortable feeling like my heart and breathing were loosing control. So with any typical strainer, you will end up ingesting this tea. NOT GOOD. I'm past the return date, so I feel cheated by this purchase. I may try to brew at a lower temperature, let it settle, then strain through a coffee filter, and dilute it a lot, What a hassle. I have liked Dilmah tea in the past, but this one is a loser.

Rich taste
I love this brand but this tea is dusty. There’s no tea leaves, there’s only a dust. But still has a nice rich taste and color.

New Favorite Tea!
First saw a reference to this tea in a New Zealand mystery and decided to try it. Great choice! Nice, strong tea, dark color. Bought the loose tea instead of the tea bags and this worked well for me. Highly recommend for the flavor and price!

The cost of taste
It is not cheap in any manner buying bulk on line. But for the taste it is worth it. So far seller always has it in stock. Recognized world class brand.

Awesome Authentic Sri Lankan Tea!
This Dilmah Tea brought over from the Tea States in Sri Lanka is the real deal. Want to half milk tea like you did when you went to Sri Lanka? This is the tea to buy. Or any other kind of Tea, this one is very delicious! My wife and I bought one bag, and within a week decided to buy another because we had it almost gone already!!!

Tea fannings, not loose leaf
I got this because Amazon couldn't provide my regular subscription of Al Wazah loose leaf orange pekoe tea and suggested this instead. My review is more of a reflection on Amazon suggesting this as a suitable replacement, than for the tea itself. This not what I would consider a loose leaf tea. It is fanning, or "dust" instead of regular leaves of tea. That in itself is fine as long you know that's what you're getting, and I didn't. As a fanning, this tea brews very quickly and strongly, it's more suitable for people that use a lot of milk in their tea, or for putting into tea bags. Just know what you're getting because this is certainly not what you would expect a loose leaf black tea to be like.

Worth it!
Best tea in the world - leave to infuse for 4 or 5 mins. I now have a selection of single cup tea infusers to use the leaf tea.

Well. This is the worst tea I’ve seen in years
You can see the state of the tea in the photo. It’s just dust. It is not broken orange pekoe loose leaf tea. I am not even sure what to do with it now.

Authentic Ceylon tea
Excellent! The only problem is, that it’s not in stock that often. But great flavor and strength.

Love its color, flavor and strength
So, it was my first time buying BOPF tea. Was a bit surprised by how fine (dusty) it looked. But it tastes great, and quite strong, with a bright color. Its aftertaste stayed with me for about an hour. At the same time, I'm trying a Ceylan OP tea, bought from another seller on Amazon. So far, it was easier for me to brew Dilmah tea to my liking. In our tradition of tea brewing, we usually keep teapot over slowly steaming kettle for about 5 min to infuse the tea (some consider this too much of an extraction) I'll buy this again.
