This is a drop-in replacment.
My cord on my old one was coming apart. This is a drop-in fit. It works very well. I have not problem chatging or running all day plugged in.

works as must the second laptop charge to my XPS the size helps a lot in my travels but the design is weak and probably fail again I buy the dell one because is form my work

So far so good
Purchased after watching a video that explained why my computer wasn’t charging (even though the light on the charger and computer indicated that it was working, the charger had become defective). This replacement seems to be an authentic Dell charger (in the photos the original that came with the computer is on the right and the newly purchased one on the left). So far it works well, no issues. Knocked a star off the review because there’s a dent in one spot of the cord (which is one of the reasons the cord could become defective). Some other reviews stated that the product stopped working after a few months, will update my review if I have any issues.

Update - Seems to be Substandard!
This is an update. I got this charger in July 2022, it worked for a while. The light went off and it stopped in October, started up again and has finally stopped a short while ago! Got same one in 2020 and it lasted till July 2022 when I replaced it. This is too expensive to fail in a few months. It is not a perishable!

A cheap replacement for my aging DELL XPS
When my 7-year-old DELL XPS 13 (9350) power adapter suddenly failed to charge my laptop, I was debating whether to get a new laptop or buy a replacement until I found this cheap solution. My XPS just got a 2nd life!
