Great little rechargeable flashlight. Lightweight but pretty sturdy. We’ve bought a few in the past. They last a few years and are just great to use during the night around the house when you don’t want to turn lights on. High and low setting, plus additional settings you can use if you want to light up an area when the power is out (while it’s plugged in). And the charge lasts quite a while too. Probably not the super bright flashlight you want to use outside though.

These rechargeable lights are great. When electricity goes off these lights will go on. Well worth the investment.

Absolute must have. In Hawaii we have frequent power outages and not always during daylight hours. Plug it in and know during the next power outage you will have instant lighted flashlight making for safely lit environment. Take it out of the charger and use it as a flashlight. Return to the charger when electrical power resumes. I bought for both my adult daughters but hope they never have to use them.

I bought a set of these 9 years ago for my parents and was always going to get one of my own. They have changed them since then, so I am skeptical. They are very lightweight, fit oddly loose into the base. And as someone else mentioned, this came in a plastic bubble wrap bag with a teeny, tiny "booklet" that is barely readable. I question whether this product even came directly from Capstone to be sold like this in a bag. So far, no issues and the fact that it fits loosely is not a problem. Its a great little flashlight as well that is always where I left it.

It's very bright and I love that I can adjust so many things. On the higher setting while plugged in, the nightlight is bright enough to completely light up my foyer and brighten both my living room and hallway (around a corner) enough to move around safely. On the lower setting it's just enough light for moving around the foyer. I was worried about the effectiveness of the cradle charger since the light just sits loosely inside (nothing grabs or clicks to secure it in place), but the simplicity is actually quite convenient, and the flashlight hasn't fallen out of the charging base yet. You can spin the flashlight in the charging base to aim wherever is best and it will still charge. You can set it to always stay on as a nightlight, be motion activated (which is very sensitive and detects me walking well in advance from across the room), or just stay off while charging. Using it as a flashlight is just as bright with brightness options, and easy to figure out as well. The included instructions are very simplistic and easy to follow so you don't overlook any of the features. It's definitely a good buy and worth the extra money.

Love this light! Stays recharged for days. Is bright, lightweight, and easy to handle (I have arthritis in my hands). I like it so much, I ordered two so I can have one on hand in case they stop making them.

Stopped working after 2 months. I ordered this because it was the same brand as one I bought in a store at least 10 years ago that finally died, but this one--meh. I bought it for the flashlight function that would light up in a power failure, but the sensor for the "nightlight" part was too sensitive, ie, always on, and the nightlight itself was much brighter than I needed it to be. But the fact that this not-inexpensive light just died after 2 months is the deal-breaker. Do not recommend.
