Wood Grain Patterned Paint Roller

This is a great way to add the look of wallpaper for a lot less! It's a little hard to keep the roller from sliding, but the wood grain pattern easily hid my mistakes. You could also overlap (by accident) and it didn't ruin the pattern. A floral pattern might be a little harder to control. It was used as a backdrop to a bathroom vanity display at a Home Show and we received many compliments on the pattern. Most people thought it was wallpaper. Practice keeping a steady hand on something else before you start.

Order arrived quickly and we were excited to use it on our nursery. We actually picked out very similar colors to the example photo, but it was very difficult to see our mint green through the gray background. We tested the roller out on cardboard and the pattern came out fine, but applying it to a whole wall was different. You could barely tell what the pattern was so and found that the paint thickness was very heavy in the beginning of the roll and faded as we went down the wall even by applying the same amount of pressure. we just ended up painting the whole wall a solid color.

Worked great to make cardboard fence for Fiddler on the Roof procuction. Plan to make chritmas wrap with it next!
