This is the pillow I've been looking for! I had one years ago. Laying flat on it puts your head in the right position. Often when my neck hurts laying down gives me a nice pop. It works laying flat for pain relief. But,I'm a side sleeper.. it works for that as well. The most important thing is height though. Too short not gonna put head back enough, too high neck hurts. I had to get the middle size queen for my comfort. I bought the shorter size and gave it to my daughters. These pillows are nice.

Love this pillow! I’m a must-do side sleeper with rotator cuff and neck issues and I’ve got a graveyard of pillows I’ve tried. This is the best pillow I’ve found by far. The shoulder ledge really does relieve pressure while still cradling my neck and head like a cervical pillow. Firm but still soft. No lines left on your face. And the customer service is outstanding. I needed a little more height and they immediately sent me two inserts at no charge.

Update: I’ve been using the slimmer side and loved it but I’ve had it since February and the foam has flattened out already so I’m back to having neck and shoulder pain. The tall side is just too thick to be comfortable. I’m considering just ordering another and replacing every 5 months but that’s a lot of $. Summary - Not comfy for stomach sleeping, which forced me to become a back and side sleeper, which is a good thing for me since stomach sleeping is bad for your spine - Good for smaller people because it is slim (I'm 4'11" and hate giant pillows) - but my 6'2" boyfriend also loves it because the curves on either side of the neck leave a space for his broad shoulders to fit - Didn't come with the advertised pillowcase (which is fine, I wouldn't have used it, just FYI) - Had a chemical smell on opening that is still airing out a week later, but I'm sure it'll fade I am 4'11" and have a very hard time finding pillows that fit me. Giant puffy pillows leave my neck at a strange angle because I'm so small. I've been sleeping with the same goose down pillows for 20+ years because of this, because I can't tolerate new pillows long enough for them to flatten and become comfortable. Whenever I try new pillows, I wake up sleeping with my old pillows and the new one is on the floor, because I throw it in my sleep. Still, as you can imagine, 24 year old pillows do not provide enough neck support and I have been dealing with a lot of neck pain and migraines. I saw a review of this pillow from someone who said they are 5'1" and that this pillow fit them, and I IMMEDIATELY bought it. First night I woke up a lot because switching from goose down to memory foam is hard, and I like to sleep on my stomach with my arm over my head/under my pillow, but this pillow doesn't allow for that sleeping position. So, it took a few days for me to get more used to sleeping on my back and side (which is a good thing, because stomach sleeping isn't great for your back and neck). Still, in the morning, the pillow was still under my head, which was a good sign. A few more days of not great sleep and I finally started to adjust to this. Now that I have, I adore it. The only downside for me is that when I have a bad migraine, the pillow hurts because it is too firm. When laying down with a severe headache, it's more comfortable for me to use my goose down pillows which cradle my head more gently. My 6'2" boyfriend loves it because the firm neck support and the slightly raised parts for your shoulders keep his head at the correct angle too. He has enormous shoulders and with a normal pillow, his shoulder ends up crammed under the pillow when side sleeping. He loves this because the pillow has that curve upwards on either side of your neck which leaves some room for his shoulder to fit naturally. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It forced me to become a back and side sleeper and I have fewer days where I wake up with neck pain because my pillows had shifted in the night, causing me to sleep weirdly. I'm a fan!

Good pillow, but got for side sleeping and not putting pressure on my shoulder, and it still hurts my shoulder, as I'm bigger than average. It helps my neck pain, however. Hey EPABO! If you see this, send me the insert to make it higher, please, and change to 5 stars. I’m really impressed with this pillow! It’s soft and comfortable while still providing great support for my head and neck. I usually sleep on my side and back, and this pillow works well for both positions. It has just the right amount of firmness and doesn’t sink too much during the night. The quality feels great for the price, and I’ve been sleeping much more comfortably since I started using it. Definitely a great value and highly recommended!

I originally bought the smaller queen pillow Aug 2020. It's SUUUUPER comfortable and supportive!! This shape is best for me as a side, occasional back, sleeper. When on my side my head rests wholly on the sides (not in the dip). My shoulder tucks right into slant so my neck is properly supported. It's now May 2026 and I've used this pillow probably 90% of this time. It is still in EXCELLENT condition; pillow AND case! It's been slept on by people and pets, in & out of suitcases cars and couches and no signs of ware! There's no pulls, pilling, cracking, flaking, etc etc. I did however feel the foam had lost some density; no surprise after almost 6 yrs rite?! So I ordered another... and surprise found that the new felt the same as old! Apparently my head required a taller support (which in hindsight makes sense since gaining significant weight). I tried the "Almost King" and it was too high and much to firm for me. (Be sure to check product specifications for each because the firmness differs). I reached out to vendor to ask if their larger queen size and 'king' have the same firmness level and explained why I was asking. They were VERY responsive and THEY offered a solution. They sent two 3/4" foam inserts that would raise the entire pillow! NO cost to me and even provided tracking number! So rare today for companies to be so customer forward!! Inserts came quickly and appear to be as quality-made as pillow. This ended up being the PERFECT solution!!!! I WILL ABSOLUTELY be a repeat customer!! I'm considering buying another to keep at Mom's and so I have juuuust in case these aren't available in the future. Just a helpful hint.. along with firmness level, check pillow measurements compared to your pillowcase sizes. Also, for full disclosure, I did try the same type of pillow from a bunch of other manufacturers before reaching out to EPABO. Either due to firmness, size (width/height/angle), foam quality and build quality I kept coming back to my original EPABO pillow. Pillows are highly personal, but if you've landed here, I recommend buying here!

This is an unbiased review, not part of the Amazon Vine program and not paid for by Epabo. Having experienced back and neck pain, I decided to change my pillow in hopes of alleviating my discomfort. After extensive research, I came upon the EPABO Contour Memory Foam Pillow Orthopedic Sleeping Pillow on Amazon. It has many five star reviews with individual's touting the support, firmness and how it help provide relief from both back and neck pain. Having used the pillow for an extended period, I can tell you that I believe the majority of those reviews are fake and the results are false. The pillow is made from very, very cheap "memory" foam, which lost its vitality after only a few weeks of use (see attached pictures). It does come with the contour depicted in the pictures, but after only slight use, the pillow "deflated" and is now half the size as it was when I opened the box. Worse, is that not only did it not provide back and/or neck pain relief, it actually made my discomfort worse. It didn't matter whether I was on my back or side, the pillow would lose it's shape and flatten, resulting in zero support for my head. In a matter of minutes, my neck would only be an inch off my mattress. Picture a pillow that turns into a cowpie. Thus, the EPABO Contour Memory Foam Orthopedic Sleeping Pillow is not only poor quality and doesn't alleviate pain, but they don't back up their product like they claim with their "100% Worry Free - Satisfaction Guarantee." Furthermore, upon inspecting the foam inside the case, which you can see from the pictures, it’s the lowest quality imaginable, making me concerned for my health. I would recommend avoiding this unctuous company and their products at all costs. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= EPABO sent me an email after my purchase following up on my purchase. I responded after I gave the pillow ample opportunity to prove itself that it was unsatisfactory. A company representative named "Snow" responded: "Is it not enough firm for you now ?" I responded: "Unfortunately, the pillow is completely unsatisfactory. I can no longer use it. Waiting for your reply." Update1: EPABO’s responded after several days that they would provide me with a 30% refund. Update2: EPABO told me that: "we promise that wont be harmful for people's health." Really? You promise?? Considering you don't honor your "100% Worry Free - Satisfaction Guarantee" - do you actually think I can believe your "promise" or any other deceptive claim you make? You know what? I rather trust the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in regards to low-quality memory foam, such as yours: "Memory foam is known to release gaseous chemicals called volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Health effects associated with VOCs range from eye, nose and throat irritation to headaches and organ damage, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Some VOCs, including benzene, acetaldehyde and formaldehyde, have been associated with increased cancer risk."

I've only had the pillow for a month or so but, so far, it's been very effective. it's comfortable and i haven't had any neck pain or stiffness after waking up since i got it. i can't say for sure that it will hold up but it seems to be durable.

Seems to be good quality. The contours of the pillow do what they're supposed to, and it's quite comfortable. The density and height are spot on. I've been waking up with neck pain for the last little while. Like so bad I can't turn my head and feeling like I had to hunch over because it hurt to straighten my back and neck. I swapped out my pillow for this one yesterday and woke up with no neck pain today. I'm calling it a win.
