When it comes to Supplements, I feel that I owe it to both myself, and especially to my family, to always carry out appropriate research to establish the Supplement's potential to improve our health, or to adversely affect it, before I am in any position to decide if it's worth consuming, and if the cost is worth paying. This is why I now only allow myself and my family to consume Supplements that I have previously identified may have a health benefit, and to only buy those Brands that are likely to contain the Supplement that I have previously identified may be worth consuming. So, for me at least, it's a simple Fish Oil test: (𝟭) Is it worth consuming? (𝟮) Is it worth buying? (𝟯) Does the Pure Encapsulations Brand actually contain a Fish Oil concentrate that provides the EPA & DHA amounts claimed? Consuming something that contains nothing of any benefit, or worse, is not only a complete waste of money, but it is also a wasted opportunity to potentially improve one's health, or to help avoid an otherwise avoidable health problem. The latter is crucially important and, in my opinion, significantly outweighs the financial considerations. On this occasion, I was satisfied that there was credible evidence that the Pure Encapsulations Brand does contain O.N.E. Omega 1000mg that provides 600mg of Eicosapentaenoic Acid ("EPA") and 400mg of Docosahexaenoic Acid ("DHA"), and that any related test results were either credible, verifiable, or both. 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗢𝗯𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀? In the short term, that is usually impossible to say, because few Supplements are likely to reveal any benefits over just a few days. The effect may take weeks, or even Months, or there may be no observable effect if it has helped to avoid a problem. Therefore, my main approach initially, has been to watch for any adverse effects and, in that respect, I can confirm that I have not noticed any from consuming the O.N.E. Omega 1000mg EPA DHA Supplement made by Pure Encapsulations. 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗕𝘂𝘆 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢.𝗡.𝗘. 𝗢𝗺𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝟭𝟬𝟬𝟬𝗺𝗴 𝗘𝗣𝗔 𝗗𝗛𝗔 𝟲𝟴𝗴 𝟯𝟬𝘅 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗴𝗲𝗹? Yes, Pure Encapsulations' O.N.E. Omega 1000mg EPA DHA is well presented and I found the contents in good condition and free from both tampering and general contamination. However, the Cap was loose, so the main protection relied upon was just a single Seal beneath the Cap. I would prefer to see the Cap properly fitted, and with some additional anti-tampering measures, such as an additional Seal around the Cap itself to confirm it has not been removed after manufacture. This is a well balanced, high strength omega oil supplement. What I'm particularly happy with is the clear description of ingredients and the types of fish oil included in the capsules. Overall, of the 1250mg per capsule, you get 1000mg of both EPA and DHA, which represents a useful and measured balance. This clarity and specific detail is reassuring in knowing what I am taking. I also like the fact that the nutritional information is provided (10 calories, and 1g of fat per serving). In terms of taking them, they are easy to swallow and do not have a fishy aftertaste. The softgels come packaged in a strong lightweight plastic bottle. Although a premium product at this price considering it is only one month's worth, the quality is excellent and I am minded that the combination of ingredients is an effective package. Considering the high quality, the value for money is very good. I'm very pleased to be taking these.
