I bought two of these lamps for our bedside tables and I am really pleased with them. They are well made, attractive looking and function very well. I love the on/off switch being on the cord because it is so easy to use…no fiddling around trying to find the switch! I would recommend this lamp.

This lamp is exactly what I was looking for. It's good quality, meets my aesthetic needs, and doesn't take up a ton of space on my small desk. I bought an appliance lightbulb for it bc I wanted a smaller bulb. I would definitely buy again.

Looks great and is sturdy. I have had similar lamps that tipped easily. This one allows for repositioning so there isn’t tipping.

It’s a nice lamp looking, especially for the money. Considering all the joints, though, it’s not as adjustable as I needed. When I did get it adjusted to where I wanted it, it became unbalanced and wouldn’t stay upright. Maybe if the base were weighted for better counter balance? I moved it to the guest bedroom that is not used very often.

Extremely well made

I was searching for a desk lamp that met my specific specifications. There were a few contenders but they all disappeared the moment I saw this lamp. I watch a lot of Say Yes to the Dress and they always talk about having the “feeling” when you’ve found your perfect wedding dress and you’ll know it deep within yourself that you’ve found the one. Had no clue what they were talking about. Then I saw this lamp. It was the one. Never thought I’d have wedding dress feels about...ah...lamp... But it has happened. It’s moderately priced and the “brass” finish isn’t extremely rich in color which as it turns out is perfect for my aesthetic. Told you, it’s THE ONE. I was worried about issues with it being top heavy and falling over based on several reviews. But as of now (only 1 day), it hasn’t been an issue for me and has a decent weight and sturdiness. The bulb extending past the light shade isn’t as bothersome as I thought it would have been and I quite like the look of the light bulb peeking out all cute and adorable-like. I’m super content. God I hope some day I feel this way about a wedding dress. Or a groom. Or really anything at all.

I bought this to be a lamp on my beautiful Chippendale desk since it looked vaguely period appropriate, and I adore it. The shade's a little short for a standard bulb, so I found some short amber glow bulbs, and now this lamp stays on pretty much all the time. The two points of articulation are solid and allow the angle to be changed, so it's perfect for reading late into the evening or as a bedside lamp if you don't want to flood the room with light from a ceiling fixture. It arrived promptly and the brass looks gorgeous.

Like others have mentioned, the base is not heavy enough to support the lamp without tipping over at certain angles. The base is too narrow for the range of motion allowed by the main arm. It will stand but only in limited positioning. Either the base needs to be heavier and/or wider to allow for full range of motion with this lamp. Having said that, if your use is within the allowable range of motion then go for it as it is not a bad looking lamp. Also, it will require a shorter than standard light bulb if you're annoyed by bulbs sticking out of the housing. Not great, not bad, but ok. Will be keeping it.

Es una lampara muy linda y Es más ligera de lo que creí, pero incluso usando los focos más pequeños qué encontré, sobresalen por debajo y no es lo más lindo de ver, igualmente los stickers qué vienen dentre de la lampara son muy difíciles de alcanzar y remover, no pude quetarlos. Y finalmente, no es muy ajustable. Puedes ajustar pero no es de la misma fpa qué una lpara común lo haría, si no que tiene un par de llaves qué aflojas o aprietas para mover, pero si eres alguien que esta constante mente moviendola, o ajustndo el ángulo de iluminación, no es para ti.
