Optics Crossfire II Second Focal Plane, 1-inch Tube Riflescopes

Updated the scope on my Henry H001. Height over bore is approx. 1.625" and I can access the hammer and clear the rear sight. . The V-Plex reticle is perfect for a 22lr. Simple and clean. . The Vortex image is very crisp and clear up to 4x or 5x. The eye box is also very forgiving. Beyond 5x, the clarity starts to diminish and the eye box gets tight and easily lost at 7x. Rather than go dark, the sight picture turns white and foggy. Realistically, you would only use the 7x for zeroing. 4x is just fine for real-world magnified use on a 22lr IMHO. . The controls feel smooth and just the right resistance. The turrets are good, especially being set and forget with a 50-yard zero for optimum point blank range out to 70 yards. . For the price, the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7 for rimfire is excellent value especially with the awesome Vortex VIP warranty and the Made in the Philippines sticker. I can recommend it.

This scope 7x32 is just what I needed for my Remington 10/22 With a nice eye relief and clear optic's I felt that it’s a good bargain for this scope.

I have this on a M1A Scout Squad. It’s served me very well. A note for beginners (I was one when I bought this): make sure you torque this down appropriately in the rings/mount. I was afraid of overdoing it, but I underdid it. It turns out it was too loose and moving with every shot. Tightened it appropriately, and suddenly I was shooting nice groups.

Update: The scope adjustments sight in nicely. Every click registers a corresponding impact adjustment. Good scope. Original review: Unboxing the scope was a pleasant experience. Protective foam, courtesy cloth, plastic wrapped and rubberbanded scope, and neatly folded instructions were meticulously packed. When it comes to precision equipment like rifle scopes, these little details are meaningful because they show the manufacturer's mindset and intent. The glass is bright and clear, and the reticles are well defined. Scope mounted to my Ruger 10/22 without issue and the eye relief is generous. Usually, I need to mount my scopes furthest to the rear to reach my eye box, but this scope has enough eye relief, so I had to move it a little forward so that it is now more centrally mounted which is very nice giving me more room on the stock. Bore sighting went smoothly with the positively clicking knobs. I like that the knobs are marked U/D and R/L, making it clear which is for elevation and windage. I know that sounds ridiculous but when you don't shoot for a year, things can get unfamiliar again. Anyway, next stop is the rifle range, and will report back with results.

I purchased this scope recently and was slightly hesitant due to the price. The first thing I want to point out is how well it was packaged. They made sure that regardless of how it was handled in shipping, the scope would maintain its quality. different layers of foam to maintain where it sits in the box, and the box itself was very sturdy I will make sure to update this review as soon as I get the chance to go out again with how well it maintains zeroes, and how clear it is in different weather. As of right now, it is definitely a 5 star scope. Will be purchasing another soon! I have already had a few friends interested in purchasing one as well. EDIT: I finally got around to getting it put on my rifle and using it today (9/28). This scope has stayed inside the box since buying it, and since putting it on, I've kept it in my gun case. I noticed today that the eyepiece is bent down slightly near the power ring. It doesn't seem like it affects the optic, but I'm not very impressed that it's bent like that. I've made sure that this optic was in a safe spot where it couldn't be damaged, and this is what I find it. The extra magnification it has is awful. It shouldn't even be added. No point in trying to increase after 7x zoom. EDIT #2: Wow! I am so impressed with the customer service at Vortex! After contacting them for the eye piece being bent, they had asked me to return the scope, and they received, and sent back a brand new one within 4 days! Althought there are a couple slight flaws to the scope, I will have to say that I will continue shopping with Vortex. Thank you Vortex for making great optics, but also for the amazing customer service you provided after this mishap! Because of the customer service alone, you now have a lifetime customer!
